#Can’t use diagonals on CC2

With my CC1, I was able to use diagonal to activate both "gui" (win), and shift keys.
But it doesn’t work on the CC2.

I tried on 4 switches. The left one never worked. I have some success with the "mouse/arrow" switches.
It works flawlessly with the bottom switch (under the thumb base).

Hi @gusty vapor, do you have any news about this issue ? 🙂

I don't seem to have any problem activating the top left one like you have...

Interesting

Does the right pinky work fine?

No, it’s the same thing. I have to do a strange move. Could you try this configuration (shift and "a" under the pinky) ? Then, try to make a upper "A" with only this switch. For me, it’s really difficult.

I almost bent the keycap to succeed.

AAAAAAAA

#

seems like it is working as I'd expect...

Do you use the direct diagonale?

gusty vapor
#

I'm not normally a diagonal kind of guy but I think so

#

kind of hard to film lol but

#

nothing special?

#

just a press, in the diagonal

spark patio

That’s don’t work for me. I have to pull hard ... I just remove the cap !

gusty vapor
#

is your pinky cap oriented correctly?

spark patio
#

Since I received it, I never removed it (just now). I think it’s good.

gusty vapor
#

the "high" side should be towards the center of the two halves

spark patio
#

Yeah, I think I’ll give up. I’ll break the keycap or the switch. It’s definitely not possible with mine.

#

The rubber jumped. How to put it in place ?

gusty vapor
#

You can use needlenose pliers/tweezers to insert into hole, stretch, then put on the cap

#

it takes a little practice but not too hard

I used the replacement one for the moment. I don’t have the right tool.

I just received a new CC2 (sent as a replacement by support). I can confirm that diagonals work on it (at least the one I want to use).
It was probably a hardware issue.

So glad to hear that Steeve and I want to personally apologize again for letting this one linger so long.

The issue is fixed, that the most important thing ! 🙂

@gusty vapor I have the same behavior on my main thumb stick and in gaming I can't move diagonal. I write to the support chat on the website but didn't hear anything since one week
