I am new to the CC1 and still ramping up to 40wpm with the alphabetical keys (mainly using keybr). However, I am looking to the future where I will start to incorporate the third/bottom-most thumb key joystick into my typing. What strategies do people use to hit the third thumb keys? I have seen some videos where people use the second joint of their thumb to push the keys but that feels quite awkward (although i suppose if this is the intended usage I could get used to it). Any advice would be appreciated!

meaning the muscle that flexes the thumb towards the palm or the space between the first and second thumb joints?

More specificity in pictures. So are you using the space on your thumb between the interphalangeal joint and the metacarpophalangeal joint OR the abductor pollicis brevis muscle?

Abductor

lol. We need an xray to identify which joint goes where ....

#

But Abductor sounds about right for the bottom button.

the spacing doesn't seem right, maybe just for my hands, there is a large difference in the distances between those points of contact as described

I have to reposition my wrist a lot to hit the keys with that part of my hand, thoughts?

Ok. C has to be near the joint between the thumb and the Abductor.

Or even slightly above the joint ...
