very nice looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
I was about to start printing the competition model. But I had found a small leak on my FEP this morning, so I will be spending the next day or so cleaning up my printer. 😭
I wanted to ask, the rule of no editing the model is only for the file and not to the actual print afterwards right? I have an idea for the model and i wanted to make sure that “damaging” the print is acceptable
How do you download the painting comp mini?
Its in the mini download where the competition rules and stuff are
the editing I would interpret 2 ways, 1 is no rescaling or digitally editing the STL. The 2nd is no "photoshopping" the picture
if you print it and he takes battle damage I would personally say thats fine, but adding other stuff onto the model makes the judging complicated - like tentacles instead of an arm.
I was mainly thinking about adding damage to the cape/duster thats about it
Nothing too drastic
Thanks 👍👍
yeah nothing drastic is perfectly fine if outside of 3d editing, but changing arms as genig mentioned or adding accessories to fill the model up will be classified as editing
Okay cool, thanks for the clarification
Update 3 - Looking GOOD! (my spare model came out too :D)
Getting ready
So I think the sword and tassels on the mini failed a bit. Didn't notice until I was already painting. If I'm clever with how I photograph it, will I be okay? @idle mango
Had very similar failure points, maybe a support issue? I don't know for sure since in still fairly new at resin printing

oh no! Now i'm conflicted about reprinting... I for sure lost the tassles!
Are you on a phrozen 8k? Mind posting a close up pic of your results
Super interest to see what your results look like
just a 4K, but I can take some better pix later potentially sure.
Awesome
