SANtricity uses ALUA so you can just use that I guess? I don't think there's a multipathing driver for AIX (or any OS for that matter) anymore?

yeah, I noticed that too but I'm no AIX expert. Maxbe AIX does not support ALUA?

In the last page under "E-Series SANtricity OS Controller Software". Guess the "AIX Failover Package" is what you're looking for.

ok turns out this is a crap show.. Seems only AIX 7.2 or below is supported (no AIX 7.3) but with Version 11.70 or below.. Our 2860 came with 11.80 and volumes have already been setup.. I dont think you can downgrade without blowing it all away.. Support cases raised.. will keep you posted

Just an official confirmation.. 11.80 will not work with Multipathing in AIX. Santricity 11.70 supports AIX is 7.2 TL5 SP03.. Note the SP03.. if your customer has updated to a new SP it will not work...
