We have two clusters, primary cluster(8-nodes) is using CISCO 3132Q-V as the cluster switch, and DR site cluster(4-nodes) is using CN1610. Since the later one is coming to the End of Support, we are thinking to replace.

Based on HWU, 3132Q-V's EOA is 2022, so, I was told that it usually mean EOS should be around 2025. If there are any newer version than 3132Q-V, we should use it for replacing CN1610. So, considering both sides, what is your recommendation to replace CN1610 for our DR site?

you can see them in HWU, too. the nVidia switches are a possible alternative, or the Nexus 9336

if you can, go with the Cisco. If money is a concern and you need multiple 40/100G ports, go with the nVidia. If eight 40/100 is enough, go with the BES

also, to note, the supported version of ONTAP for the CN1610
NetApp CN1610 Ethernet cluster switches are supported through all 9.1 - 9.12.1 releases
ONTAP will not support the NetApp CN1610 Ethernet cluster switch beginning on 9.13.1 and later versions

It sounds a lot of choices. We mostly use 40G and with 8 nodes in the primary site, so, we cannot pick BES. So, what would be the common and preferred choice? Since we have experiences with CISCO, should we go with it?

Cisco is the easy choice. Well known by most. My first choice

yeah, I would always go with Cisco if possible
