It is the vertical help line moving with the cursor. It is very strange. In the most graph I have no vertical line but another user on the same Grafana has the line. I think it is now a question about Browser or something simular

Could you check if you have tooltip selected as All for such graphs?

Tooltip All does not help. But is definitely a Browser problem. With Edge I have a vertical and a horizontal line. Not with Chrome.

Do you have this helpline synchron in all Graphs in the Dashboard or only in the Graph you selected with the mouse ?

I have checked and we are not consistent with tooltip across our dashboards. We use all, single and hidden . We'll change it to all for all panels

[RFE] Display the cursor on multiple graphs at once

In the dashboard settings I have a dashboard wide graph tooltip option. Shared crosshair will show a line over all graphs when you hover over any graph. This setting should be the default in any dashboard in a future release.
