my screen just doesn't feel smooth

I have 144 hz

any1 help? how to fix it? whats the reason?

to give some context when i look at my fps its like drops ever so slightly but it does that no matter what i set my fps to

the upwards arrow stays 160 but the downwards goes down to even 90
