Hi there !
I am a new player and i'm honestly looking for someone or some people to play and explore the game with eventually.

I'm looking for someone who would be willing to live in the same realm whether its separate or same base I don't really care, it's just to see each others progress, chat and have some co-op interactions which for me the game is just currently lacking.

You don't need to be 24/7 active as we all work I get it, but anyone friendly who is happy to chat on voice or in game would be great 🙂 Feel free to reply here or message directly if you're interested.

Couple of questions!

Would you accept someone willing to travel with you and hang out?
Or would you prefer 100% the person living with you?
Do you want someone around the same gearscore as you, or are you okay with someone vibing just in general, regardless of gearscore?

I don't mind either honestly. I would prefer for someone to live in the same realm although I understand people might have multiple bases multiple realms.
The reason why i prefer someone living in same realm is because I really enjoy seeing what other people build and compare progress, and the occassional random meet ups and chats it enables out of nowhere. I'm not a massively social person irl since I spend most of my time with my cat and my wife that's why i enjoy company in games. 🙂 I spend a lot of time building in games like ark/conan exiles etc I never really played them for PVP aspect but the building aspect.
😅 . I prefer to play with a few people instead of many in general because that's how you meet people you can really get on with and enjoy games.
same as above honestly would prefer similar gear score because that would mean the person still has a lot to explore but I honestly don't mind someone higher gear score to vibe with either.

i get on pretty frequently so wed probably run into each other often, and i have a handful of builds scattered around my abeyance as well

but yeah you should do the first few quests on your lonesome so the game doesnt get screwy with progression

id say clear your abeyance's site of power first, so you get that full experience, since my dungeon is cleared

ngl that's the first thing i've done in my realm. I saw a bridge and wanted to build a base there before I knew I was shooting some weird dog in the head

i see, I was planning travel to a lot of random realms until I find a really pretty one to make the neighbourhood in. Is there any benefit to having main base in abeyance ? Or would random realms also be okay?

oh and you'll always be able to return to your original abeyance realm with the Return to Crossways button, that realm is always tied to you, so if youd like to put some npc automation there since i have all my worker slots filled

random realms are totally fine

#

there's no particular benefit to staying in abeyance, besides that moving your stuff to another realm is pretty tiresome

it's low level, safe, has the crossways, and is generally a pretty realm

do mobs actually invade your base in higher level realms ?

nightly bound raids happen in every realm

#

their strength is dependent on the realm though, so in a level 10 abeyance realm you'll get level 10 weaklings in very small groups

usually like 3, with some basic fiends and lampbearers, maybe a grenadier

you get much scarier varieties in greater numbers in stronger realms

yeah once im higher gear score i probably will want to move to a stronger realm with some people just for that type of fun xD

i did have my eye on an ascended herbarium forest i found once that has some really nice ruins i wanted to build around

i suppose? there's only 3 biomes, but the major realm type has a big impact on the scenery

herbarium realms are full of floating stone ruins

gloom realms are dotted with shipwrecks
