Hi there friendos! Let's get you this Winter Event achievement and get the information out of the way!
What: Winter Event
Reward: Winters Child Set
Why: Because it looks cute
Small FAQ:
Are the event rewards account wide? - No, Event items are per character.
Are there any male rewards from this event? - No, at the moment for their first "major" event, it is what people would label as female only clothes. (I say major because we've not had this many rewards, clothes, decorations, in any event)
Can I edit my character to be female to look good in it? - Yes! In the main menu of the game, there's an "Edit Appearance" button.
Can I just wait to get the items later like past events? - Unsure, I'd love to say yes, since every event so far has been added to the game by default in some way, not we never know what the Devs will end up doing.
What do you mean added to the game? - Every event that the Devs have given us, has had a later adaptation so that the FOMO crowd doesn't have issues.
- The Spark of Hope event, back before 0.5 Realms Rebuilt, had nearly all its items added to the game to learn as recipes, or be purchased from The Watch.
- The Autumn Event has stayed in the event tab, and is learnable as well.
Is this event even do-able for new characters? - Yes! Though you might need to progress a tiny bit in the story, if you want to do it legit.
On to how to get it done!
There are 2 confirmed maps that allow for this distance to be met. There's most likely a very technical reason that I've figured out, but I've learned most people don't want to know what it is, or care.
TLDR; These are the only two maps that allow for the height 😛
Easy mode:
There is also a charm you can put onto items that will net the reward even in Abeyance atop the large open doorway leading to the map! (Huge thanks to Onisshoku)
Look for Charm of the Pitcher, this charm can be learned after making progress to Welkins Reach.
This charm will also work if you climb to the top of the observatory in Welkins, jump and yeet! (seen in comments below)

Confirmed Map 1: Second Story realm, Welkins Reach. HUGE rock (Image One, X marked)
Bring a lot of Stamina Potions, and you can build up to this rock if you can use your climbing picks to latch on from the lower rocks. To make it to the top of the large rocks takes about 1,000 Stamina.
Confirmed Map 2: Fourth Story realm, Gloriana's Tears. Radiant Site of Power, on the very top, including standing on the chest. (Image Two, circled)
Things to know:
🔸Make very very sure there is nothing below you. So when you aim, aim a little up, jump a little for extra boost, and out in a clear area. (Image Three, aim for this rock, but high in the sky)
- What I mean by this is, for example Gloriana's Tears has bridges on two sides of it, as well as cliffs on the other side, if the ball hits here, it will not "fall all the way" and wont count.
🔸Make sure to only throw one ball at a time, and wait. However long you think it'll take to wait, just keep waiting. It has to fall allllll the way down. (This usually takes about 30ish seconds)
🔸If you don't mind visual spoilers, and are playing an online profile, there are a few people (myself included) that have built ways in these realms to get to these places. Because of this, they CAN bring you to their realm, and help you get it done. You will need to make sure you have your climbing picks on you.
