I feel so dumb asking this, but...do I need to kill the Jabberwock at the end of The Abeyance Site of Power on the first map before I can reignite the Empyrean Portal to Sylvan's Cradle for "The Journey Home - Humanity's Final Beacon?" If so, how do I kill the Jabberwock? I feel like neither I nor my weapons are high enough level, but I don't have options for anything higher level than "Simple" weapons and I've explored the whole map.

Yes you need to defeat the Jabberwock to get access to the next realm, and the tools you have available are enough to take it out.
Aim for it's head to land weakspot hits and deal more damage.
After taking 25% damage the boss will split into 3 or 4 bosses, only one of them is real and the others vanish when attacked so you need to find the real one and keep damaging it.
Set health potions to your Q quick key so you can stay healed.
And avoid going on the lower floor in the center of the arena as it gets filled with exploding mushrooms, instead stay around the walls of the room and use jump+dodge to jump between the raised areas to fight the boss or avoid its attacks.
thank you so much
The boss is a bit trickier for melee builds than it is for ranged or magic builds, but it can be defeated using any build.
Also make sure that you have crafted clothes and tools using the best materials you have available.
And craft infusions at your enchanters focus and add those to your gear as well
Right now it is better to work on the Halloween event cuz you get better fiber to craft a set of clothes. I am going to have to do that wwhen I finish this just because I made the best I had and noww have better.
To give a little more info about the halloween bound, they spawn at night between midnight-6am in all realms
oh, that makes sense. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks again for all of the help! I think I'll work on the Halloween bound, double-check what I made my clothes with, and work on my archery for a bit and then try the Jabberwock again. Thank you so much!
And of course don't neglect your cooking either, food is one of your major sources for health and stamina so look over what you are able to cook and bring with you for the fight.
Different food materials boost different stats so it's a good idea to look over your materials and see what you can cook up using them.
Blueberry and Prey Meat Wasna is a good starter food since it gives you a decent bit of stamina, but you can have buffs from 3 different foods at the same time.
Yeah, I was just cooking up some stuff and Puck showed up to tell me my cooking was boring.
If he wants me to cook something else, he will have to give me a recipe lol. I have spent a whole 5 minutes in Sylvan's Cradel so far.
Yeah he does that lol
I know, right? Like, I've made all the recipes I have multiple times. Give me a new one if you think I'm so boring.
You should have heard Puck prior to the latest update when after you avoid starving to death he goes "now that you've spared yourself from that embarrassment.."
He literally thought us starving to death would be an embarrassment 😂
