[0.7] WIP Build guides and how to min-max your stuff [check the first message and those pinned]
I'm reposting this here for those who play ranged and missed it https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/840580191779553290/1349403976499462165/yex.mp4?ex=67d3a2a2&is=67d25122&hm=94402e3907f603d67a7abb3274e281603da16bf0fb07542f29f80b4643a6d380&
I'll post the pages for the rest of the weapons and the umbrella bit by bit I didn't expect the update to come out in a week, I haven't had time to look at everything yet
where can i find Dreamscale Perch?
in nightingale city, I think you can fish it in any spot, but i'm not sure
ok
ive hardly done any fishing. what materials should i make the rod out of?
materials with melee damage and crit to catch faster, and materials with fishing rate to catch more
ok
(holt) eoten wood, fabled bound sentinel, star ruby, desert fish for the fishing line
desert fish fiber clothes and foods will also b oost fishing rating
Is there any better way to get star ruby other than like 8 at a time from Welkin?
theres 5 you can mine in danu's house
how does making the focal shards work if they take 2 cut gems and 6 ink?
2 cut gems and 6 ink makes 1 focal shard
right. this is what im confused about https://imgur.com/LjoEwct
you need 1 ore for the pigment, one gem for the glass for the ink, gems for the lustrous ink and cut gems for the focal
ok
there's currently a bug with displaying stats when I use 4 augments, I've made a post on aha https://playnightingale.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RRBUG-I-1962
Sorry if I'm wrong on this, on the "Winter Child's Garb" it shows that you're using a Widower in the numbers, but there's no leather,.
Is that a typo or did you make it into fiber at some point?
I put ‘for leather parts’ to avoid someone using widower fiber when there's a leather slot,I forgot to mention about the child garb, use widowers fiber for the child garb. I'm going to clarify that
ah and I don't know if you use the message you reply to craft your gear but instead use this message is updated every time I make a change, so it's easier to follow : #1286634505582678026 message
How do you make your graphics? Yours are so pretty compared to the critstab build guide
clarification on sheliak/widower fibre, and on gems to be used as glass for ink
I use photoshop, I just cut out the icons from my screenshots
Ah ok. I've never used photoshop. If I wanted to try to make some graphics for the critstab guide, would you mind if I stole your layouts/used them for inspiration
no I don't mind, go ahead
Sirium, will you eventually update the longbow build with the new T5 stuff?
Considering that the main message says T5 isn't fully updated, and the fact they appear to be working on a bow as shown here #nightingale-talk message, I'd say odds are good
the update came out quicker than expected and I switched back to the normal version and had to redo everything and re-farm the materials and some coins to re-buy the new charms and weapons. So I still haven't started on the lancaster and revolver, and with the new short bow charm, I might do a page on it I'm not sure yet.
But yes, I was crafting it yesterday, as Onisshoku says. ( I crafted it 3 times the same one because of a bug...) I'm still not sure it's the most optimized.
Plus with the different layers possible between the masterwork and focal shard parts, I tend to make careless mistakes. 😅
my current attempt, with my old gear ( I haven't had time to redo my gear in dreamscale), no food buff no minor card
yeah, from PTR to production was surprisingly (but pleasantly) quick
anyway, thanks for everything! you're doing a wonderful service for everyone
I am a little bit confused about the pants, which is better the hunter pants or the wrangler pants?
oula, I copied the wrong link on the t5 guide , I'll fix that
the wangler if you don't have access to the nightingale city, the hunter one is better with the new fish
the "t4" version #1286634505582678026 message
the "t5" version #1286634505582678026 message
Is there any advantage to crafting in Danu's house as compared to using the podium when crafting clothes?
how does this compare to what you are using?
danu's house was the only place with a t2 magick augment since september, I don't know there other method use it with the new update
I've just looked at your screenshot again. If you don't intend to use the t2 + t3 magick augmentation (which is used to reach 100% resistances in all types of elemental damage), you don't need to go to danu's house,
podium is a dandy augment t3, it gives magick +++
danu cauldron is a magick augment t2, it gives elemental resistance ++
Sorry to bother , what do the number mean in your screen ?
this is the number of times you use the components to craft the clothing, the colours are associated with those in the first ‘materials’ image.
like the blue number is for dreamscale and the purple one for einadia
omg i've been so blind 😄 thank you for the explanation , colors sometimes is tough for me haha
It makes me think that my guide is not color-blind friendly, but I don't really see how I could change that without making the guide too complicated
no no thats ok like this dont worry ^^
there is no way to please everyone with colors lol
Since there is no line slot for this masterwork longbow, it is impossible to use some dreamscale fibers. It's the only t5 weapon of the guide that doesn't exceed the crit soft cap at the moment.
@fervent quail
I just noticed that I put 4 elder eoten heart on the rifle but it's 5. I'm going to correct it this evening
I see you've got a shotgun in your guide now. Are they good again? I've been away for a few builds...
it can now "stab" with the new charm, which makes it possible to "critstab" like a knife, and finally allows it to do decent damage to Yex #1286634505582678026 message
They gave it a bayo? Sexy
oh shotguns can backstab AND critstab now?
no, it's a charm that adds crit damage if you shoot an enemy in the back, the charm description use the word stabbing because it's the same mechanic as the knife but have to shoot the mob
Yep
YOOOO RANGED CAN FINALLY COMPETE LETS GOOOOO
the shotgun has the worst crit base of ranged weapon, so it's not as powerful as a knife, I make about 16 million on a "critstab" without a minor card
Wait so you get crit damage just for being behind them? On top of the other charm for being behind targets?
that is still a lot of damage
yep
tbh, I don't know how charm of flanking scale
does charm of the sniper allow you to critstab with your shotgun at ludicrous range? Or it is like the pistol with hard capped range
for a normal stab no because it's not a critshot, but for a critstab I don't know, for most of the bosses it's hard to see they heads if you're not close enough
I'd have to try from a distance on a harpy, but in any case there's a maximum distance, after which the shot isn't even counted.
and now the porter pistol is a smg
Its that maximum distance that probably limits the shotgun
this one is more representative how fast it is
So the lantern charm for immolation doesnt count as a spell and cancel other spells, that's quite interesting for my mage builds
with the masterwork version of the lantern, I imagine that it's as good as the umbrella for boosting stats now, so you can play with it and cast with a one-handed weapon.
What wave level was this video?
I don't remember, but it's got around 10 million hp, so I'd say maybe between 20 and 30
can you post screenshots of your current equipment. I was following your guide to the extent I could but even with the shotgun on level 23 I was struggling big time. Granted I do not have the masterwork weapons yet and very few t6 and t6 infusions, but still I am obviously not doing something correctly.
in the video I had the duelist cart activated, for my gear it's the same that the t4 version of the build, ( #1286634505582678026 message)
since I didn't have time to redo the other version after switching from the ptr to the normal version
, and my shotgun it's the t5 version
did you put the shotgun charm on your shotgun and shoot it in the back?
Haven't gotten the charm yet. Still working through NG City. Then I need to figure out how to farm more NG tokens. If I am having this much trouble just getting through the 20s in Boss Ruch, I do not even want to think about the Autobot Queen 🤣 Since she doesn't seem to come until 30 or so.
I hit it for 2 million, but you can see at the end of the video when it turns around, I'm only hit hit for 200k, (i.e ~65k without the duelist card), it's the the charm that can allows to do damage equivalent to a critshot for a shot in the back
on all bosses or just yex?
all the boss, but for yex you can't crit it, so it's the only method to do that amount of damage
for the others bosses you can add back shot and crit shot and reach like 15 millions without the duelist card (but it can be very trickylike with the sun giant)
these are my current stats with the shotgun equipped
The shotgun itself is
No idea why it says coal there
tbh don't use the mystic one it's bad, I don't even make a page for it (it's from the gun powder of the ink)
with the t5 one
can you screen me you character ranged damage and crit detail, (mouse over the damage and crit line)
Ranged
Crit
two questions: is there a masterwork grenade and does it have reasonable ranged damage potential for an offhand? and secondly, has scaling for the slingbow changed or is still all ranged and magick has some badly-scaled effect on elemental
thats how all elemental ammo works
the damage over time effects are shart and ice is still the best and only needs 200
Yup OK just checking they hadn't fixed that in the last couple builds since I played
We just need to bite the bullet (pun entirely intended) and make a PTR feature request to buff all DoTs in the game
instructions unclear, biting marble
Some return to the old "stack magick for elemental" builds would be nice. I would be fine with a reduction in slingbow damage-from-ranged to counterbalance for that specifically.
shotgun and grenade are perfectly fine aoe options for pure ranged builds anyway
There was already a brief discussion during the PTR when critstab was confirmed to be intentional where there was a discussion to buff other playstyles. We could roll stacking and better DoTs into that same feature request for an option to put magick builds in the same ballpark as critstab
magick needs better toys for dealing big damage so badly
Yeah that's reasonable. I definitely swapped to jabberwock gear because magick can't boss as effectively, and boss rush is a thing
That and grenade launcher spam is fun
I think I know, it's the infusionsn but it's seems ok
but thb you should use a mystic longbow or a mystic bolt action until you get t5 weapons
Alright, will do that until I have the t5 weapons. Is it correct that the automaton queen starts showing up in boss rush at lvl 30? If so, do you first have to have killed her in NG City?
I don't think so, but I didn't try to do the boss in the boss rush before hill it in nightingale city
and yes the queen showing up at the 30th waves and every 10 waves beyond the 30th
and normally the t5 version of the gear with t6 sniper infusions should have
for ranged: subtotal+1 6.22
for the crit: subtotal+1 5.05
what material should i use for pigments and stuff to make lustrous ink for focal shards? critical melee
perhaps... bismaltus ore?
do bleeds from fabled charm of the sickle scale with melee or magick or not at all?
it's depends, but yeah bismaltus is definitely a good choice
the soft cap penalty is very impactful, any % above 60% crit is almost wasted, so you need to use components with as much stat as possible without exceeding 60% of crit. The advantage of melee is that there's granite, so you can use star ruby + granite hybrid stone for the powder
This gives a gem with 12% effective stats and a cut gem with 20% effective stats, it make a focal with 36 crit and you can use marble instead of granite (or a mix) if you want more crit on it
ahh
For example, if I want to use a ranged/written gem with as many stats as possible, I get this, which is a lot of stats in one slot, but the soft cap is not far
So I use some elder eoten heart which has 10% effective stats compared to 12% for star ruby
the pinned recipes say to use hybrid stone made from marble to get 8% crit, but when i turn that into stone powder it becomes plain marble 4% crit powder... what am i doing wrong?
makin some ink like this i guess
26% crit as a focal shard
i will definitely need to gather more star rubies
yeah, I've spent a lot of resources for my tests, I'd farmed a lot but I don't have many star rubies and elder eoten heart left
sorry I missed your message, in the ptr there was a bug if you had 4% powder in your inventory, the 8% powder piled up with it and lost its 8% attribute.
it looks like im going to go a teensy bit over the crit softcap because of the assassin augment, but thats ok
yeah I currently only have the long bow which does not exceed the soft cap; all the rest of my weapons are at 62%.
i cant wait to see the ridiculous amount of damage i do
I think the charm of the sword is op
oh no yeah absolutely my jaw dropped when i read that
when fighting yex i do 2-3 sword strikes between each parry
this is going to be absurd
how is this legal
for comparison, my current sword
just the sheer amount of STUFF you can fit in this recipe
the footer of the weapon description becomes a supermarket inventory
can you say OVERKILL
yeah the inflation is impressive with this update
which Minor Card are you using to craft Tools? Lumbermill/Quarry ?
forge
what are you using for the "Any Toolhead" ? for the Masterwork Toolhead?
It indicate lumber in my guide, but yes forge works too (and if quarry works like lumber, quarry works too)
i used artisanal pick heads
I'll have to try using lumber again on a weapon without wood to see if it still works,
that looks right. I checked the other options.
I use the axe since the recipe takes blades and I already have a ton of the fabled bound Sentinel ones from boss rush
should be the same. I like how the Artisanal let's you use Filigree, vs Alloy or Precious Metal
what Charm's are you putting on Swords/Knives?
riposte and fabled sword
if the sword charm works on knives this could revolutionize late wave sun giant fights
I have enough Sovereigns for Fabled Sword hmmm
Wow! I guess so!
If you're not running with a group that keeps baiting the wrong attacks, you can pretty reliably get a critstab out of the palm slam attack
Yes
Wow nice. The melee and magic stats on the Masterwork items are almost doubled.
will all that soft cap and diminishing returns talk, i wonder how it applies to a magic caster build, where crit doesnt seem to be an effective/easy to use stat
you can't crit with a magic build, yellow damage appears when a stun enemy is hit, giving a flat 50% damage bonus, but it's not really a crit, it's not affected by crit%.
and for the magick soft cap, I thinks it's unreachable atm
so just stack noble hollow and dont worry about anything?
yes
ty
Right, that's still happening then.
Do masterwork take two charms or something, as well as having a million material slots?
yes
Feels very like "we're done, have some stupid OP toys"
I did a search to see if anyone had the same issue I did today, but I figured out what's happening. When you turn hybrid stone into powder, the game does not differentiate regular marble powder from hybrid marble powder. If you keep it separate, you'll have the 8% bonus. If you stack it into existing 4% powder, it turns it all into 4%. The same is all true for cut gems. The game doesn't differentiate between gems cut with hybrid powder and gems cut with regular powder.
Please consider upvoting: https://nightingale-ptr.ideas.aha.io/ideas/NPTR-I-134
Ah. It's under the PTR aha. I searched and didn't find anything so I created a new post 😦 Thank you!
So what I'm hearing is, keep stone powder and gems in your personal inventory while crafting and be very very careful
Whatever you move from inventory A will get eaten and converted into the material that exists already in inventory B.
Take your regular 4% marble and try to stack it onto your 8% marble, and boom, more 8% marble and no more chance of messes
Ooh, please share! I'll upvote that one as well!
https://playnightingale.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RRBUG-I-1975 mine was more specific. I hadn't observed that it effected other items
Good to know i can convert the stack back to 8% by doing it in reverse!
Upvoted!
I knew about the problem back when I made 1/2 sheliak/beelzeboar and 2/1 sheliak/beelzeboar durable cloth. I thought it was odd, but not that urgent of a problem. When I saw the hybrid stone powder, I knew there would be issues, so I did some extra work to see if I could understand it
Voted both, hopefully it gets some love.
Is there any variation in gunpowder or is it still just sulphur/coal every time
I do not see the Masterwork Handle recipe anywhere. Am I missing something?
should be at the t3 woodcutting bench
Is there a good way to farm for Nightingale Soverign?
Boss rush, boss appears first time at wave 30 and after that each 10 waves
Can you reset nightingale and farm up the loose coins around the place?
I don't think for coins from quest reward, but maybe from wisp and little bags
You can reset NG City and then go back and chase the wisps. I have found 4 of them. 2 in the 2nd area and 2 in the 3rd area. You do have to go to the pylon switches and switch them again each time you reset, but do not have to redo the quests
I can confirm, that the Coinbags are gone. Main Quests are gone, Rescuing Survivors does not yield Money. I am quite buffled, that the only real possibility to get coins ist Level 30 / 40 Boss Rush (not counting the 4 (!) Wisps...).
The coins are to get endgame recipes and endgame charms, nothing else, i see it right that you need to craft a good gear or play with other people to get those, brings some difficulty to the game and makes you use the crafting system in a decent lvl and not just use whatever you find, you can farm coins even with T3++ weapons, and if you are smart enough to buy the T5 weapon with the coins you get from the quests/first clear of the city is even easier
I was thinking specifically the "loot bags" that have 5 coins each in them, if you memorised where they were and they were static spawns, might be fast. But i see its not possible. Wisps are average.
Yeah, coins pouches, busts, collectibles don't respawn after resetting the city. However I will say that there are some fabled charms that are hidden in the city. None for guns that I know of.
I used Carnute Ichor for Pigment/Ink for Focal Shards. Pretty versatile stuff that. I also used Titanium Ore to make some ink but didn't use it in the end on any builds.
As the longbow recipe will be changed in the next patch, the longbow guide will become obselete.
Oh ? What happens to the Longbow ?
the masterwork handle in the recipe is a mistake, it should be a masterwork long bow arm
Well this error in the long bow recipe introduced an error in the craftin, bow arms can be used instead of any pole so I can only advise you to craft a bunch of stock and masterwork handle with bow arms
I'm making a bunch before it gets patched, I suggest you make some with einadia, hybrid marble stone for powder and elder eoten wood and elder eoten heart, one star ruby max, dont exceed 20% crit
in addition to adding quite a few stats, it allows me to reach without exceeding the soft cap crit while remaining optimized.
I post the mastework longbow made with a masterwork handle, itself made with masterwork bow arms
with a example of an masterwork handle made with a masterwork bow arms
Since it's going to be patched, I don't know how much longer you can craft a masterwork longbow with a masterwork handle. Sorry it's not really a guide
the grip is made only with widower leather (and einadia for the reinforced leather)
the masterwork ornement is made with marble hybrid stone, einadia and hollow metal
and the focal gems with 1 einadia, 2 star rubies, hybrid stone of marble and 1 eoten wood heart (22%ranged 32%crit in total)
use military t1 + t3, assassin t1 and hunt t2 (I know the "damage ++" is missing in the details but it's only a visual bug
@tawdry swift Where do I find it for the new Ranged Crit (using Lever Action)
Below the old one #1286634505582678026 message
your materials list dreamscale perch, how do i get that?
Its an end game, you can get in the Nightingale City
something fished or bought?
Fish
and is there a gear requirement like the t5 ores?
Not that i know of
HIGHLY suggest making a fishing gear set as they dont spawn that often
oof and it looks like i need a ton of it for armor
The number of fish you catch scales with fishing rating, so its not too onerous. I've got an old set from desert fish and i get 14 fish per catch.
~150-200 should be enough for armour, depending on build and how well you manage production multiples
now that the Outfitter is no longer supported, does anyone by chance have calculations of how much stuff we need to bulk craft for weapon/tool sets?
neither the outfitter nor the gear builder are up to date
which is hardly surprising given the number of material layers for the new weapons
I admit I'm having a small issue trying to get the gems worked out on the master lever gun. Do I need to make two different sets of shards/ ink with star rubies then the heart? Almost feel I need a "for dummies" flow chart or breakdown
Also I need time to go harvest a bunch of mats as well.
Hmmm... just made an Umbrella with a lot of Ranged Damage and Crit. But nothing changes, when holding a two-hand-Weapon with the Umbrella active in the Background. So it seems, this only works for Pistols (and I am strict Rifle/Bow-User...).
Is there a better build for the Umbrella (Faster, max Stamina, Life Regen, Stamina Regen) or does these also only work, when not gliding ?
So: Looking for an Umbrella build which is useful when equipping a two-Hand-Weapon. Anybody any Ideas ?
Only weapons/tools on the hand at the moment counts towards the stats, if you use 2 hand weapons there is no offhand item you can use to boost your stats while attacking
a focal need gems 3 times, the glass for ink, for the lustrous ink, and for the focal shard itself, the lever action need two times focals shard and two times raw gems, so 8 times in total, you can distribute star rubies and elder eoten heart like you want
your character movespeed affect the gliding speed
Thank you that helps alot
The porter has one more gem than is talked about in the image you shared btw. Has a raw gem slot like the lever action, so five total. Or I miscounted somewhere 🤣
tree for the focal shard of the barrel and a raw gem for the action (if you don't count the masterwork bow arms exploit) , I can't think of any others
but all parts should be stackable in pairs?
Yeah OK, think I confused myself by reusing focal shards I'd built for another gun
yes, most slots require two identical components, but this is not taken into account in guide, if it says 5 elder eoten heart and 2 star rubies for example, it doesn't take into account the number required per slot but the number of times where it's needed
my math isnt mathing, this pic says 4+3 gems
wrong pic, understood
Cant focal shards be substituted for cut gems?
Is that the lever action above taking in account using a fs instead of a cut ruby with marble? What would be the difference between the 2?
yes, without focal shard, there's only 4 gems and no pigment
this post is always the one that edit every change#1286634505582678026 message
Also why do spells show that there are charms attatched to them now? Like i looked at a spell in my box and it said it had charm of the unmoving?? Attatched to it
yeah I saw that, I think it's just a visual bug
How would i build a set dedicated to fishing? I.E. what perks benefit fishing and how should i best build a rod? Does it matter getting a good set or will slapping a bunch of stuff together to make it work?
melee + crit to catch faster and fish rate to catch more
which one-handed Pistol type Masterwork Thingee is best now? or is it personal preference?
The best fishing stats afaik are on fish, so there's a bit of a chicken and egg situation. Get a set together that's good enough to catch a bunch of high end fish to build a baller set.
The porter with its charm works well for the boss rush, the revolver is a good weapon for roaming, I haven’t had the time to test the revolver and the lancaster charms in the boss rush
Outlaw is also a fairly good card for boss rush since it has no penalties other than reduced damage for non-pistol ranged.
Is there any chance youll do a minmaxed foods guide as well? I dont know what foods are good to make and which give the best bonuses. I can guess nectar but im not sure about any others
nectar and heavy stew are the best, with lapis and widowers/sheliak for bone/meat/oil
Is there a ratio of widowers to sheliak to use? Like 1:1? Or is it just whatwver i feel id need more of
1:1 is not bad, it's doesn't matter if you have more crit that ranged
For a masterwork toolhead, is any part more optimal than others?
artisanal axes and picks have either more materials or a wider variety of selectable materials than the other choices I believe
I’m really struggling to get my ranged damage up on my gear.
I’m following the guide here, but I’m obviously missing something.
In your characteristics there’s no widowers mentioned, 7 dreamscale 1 widower 1 einadia 1 infusion t6 1 western t1 augment, upgraded to epic gives 117% ranged damage
And there some augments are missing like a magick augment for the elemental res
I did goof on the western t1 augment at Danu's house, and the only infusions I currently have on hand are Tier 4 (so tht'a only an 8% ranged buff).
I'm having some difficulty interpereting your numbers. There are only 6 components used in making this item (4 Durable Cloth, 1 Lining and 1 Ornament), but you're saying there are 9?
I'm assuming I'm using some fabled widower meat to make fiber and turning that into thread and using that on the thread requirement for the lining and using dreamscale fiber for the cloth requirement on the lining?
No, my guide count the number of component/materials that adds stat, 1 slot of durable cloth = 3 materials, 2 for lining and 1 for the ornement. So for the Child garb, it’s 3+3+2+1, you need to make durable/ cloth with 1 cloth/thread of widower, and the rest of the fiber in dreamscale
For example 1 slot of durable cloth with 3 dreamscale , 1 slot of durable cloth with 3 dreamscale again, 1 lining slot with 1 dreamscale and 1 widower and the ornement in einaidia
Gotcha. I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the quick response!
Out of curiosity, did you make all of the items at Danu's house or just the final product?
just the final product should be needed to be made at Danu's place cause of her culdren
Got it. The augments at Danu's are Simple Saddle Rack (Tier 1 Western), Sewing Kit (Tier 3 Tailor), Crystal Ball (Tier 3 Magick) and Danu's Cauldron (Tier 2 Magick).
correct
The new piece isn't drastically diferent from the old piece.
I used a Tier 4 ranger damage infusion for this.
I tried a Tier 4 critical damage infision and that chnaged the Ranged damage ro 104.0 and the crit to 60.7
One material difference wasn't going to drastically change the gear, but it's still something.
That still adds +114% ranged and a crit soft cap almost reached on a single piece of equipment.
What are people using to kill Automaton Queen in Boss Rush? I've seen her go down quickly a number of times.
I killed it on her first attack with my porter earlier today
as I was doing a boss rush, I took a video
for higher waves, it's porter then lever action
What Ammo are you Using? Ice or ... ??
yes ice
Neato! I just made a Porter yesterday, still completing the outfit.
the porter I use in the video is not the one in my guide, it's new porter that I made with the masterwork bow arms bug
but you can archive the same thing with lever and the lever charm and spam you're left click
what's the Bow Arms Bug?
you can use a master bow arms as a pole, and make a stock or a masterwork handle with the masterwork bow arm
That was my attempt
it's the porter of my guide
Fishing rod
Are u joking or does it deal dmg even when shes in the "invulnerable" phases?
800k dmg with each bait on weakspots
Dafuq
You can not catch the boss, but you can throw the bait and the first hit do dmg
When she throws her hand down, i suppose?
Yeah
if you hook an orb or a hand, what happens at the end of the phase, does it come off or are you projected?
my bad you've answered already
Is fishing rod actually a good melee weapon due to fishing rating multiplier, or are conventional weapons better anyway?
You can not do that, you can only hit her with the bait, or at least i have not found a way to start the fishing minigame with her in any of the parts she throwed at me
I just saw the secodn comment xd
And what is ur fishing rod made of? Diamond pellu humbaba?
I only tested with full crit/melee, dont know about the fishing rating yet, for a crit/melee build swords and knifes are obviously better, but you can reach wave 30 with the fishing rod, the only times you might need to switch is in yex or one fo the bounds since they dont have weakspots but all the other bosses are doable
Heres the dmg ive saw/took notes on my run, elder eoten 200k dot, sheliak 300k dot, Humbaba 900k first hit, 70-80k dot, 800k Magwytch first hit, and then in one of the bounds i got 1,7kk first hit, but i think that dmg was cause external buffs like ring of empowerment and those thinks, one guy from the discord was in my run while i was testing the fishing rod xd, but with 1hp and rage charm i got around 800-900k crits on first hits and then 70k~ dots fro most of the bosses or 200k-300k dots in some bosses like elder eoten and sheliak
Its a bit tedious casue you need to hit the weakspot with the bait to be able to do crits, but if you manage to do it every tick is a crit 100% of the times
Interesting
The only thing i would ask the devs is to actually implement the minigame like with fishes, if you maintain the tension in the middle you are able to do crits, that would help to lower a bit the necessity to hit only weakspots and would make yex and the other bound boss without weakspots doable, the minigame shows on the boss but even if you mantain the tension does nothing to your dmg
Fishing rod will follow the real jabberwock
which bound boss doesnt have weakspots?
Helmsman, yeah?
It kinda worked that way in PTR, but it wound up doubling up on the crit if you got the tension bar in the middle and you hit a weakpoint. They didn't want that. I didn't know they were going to nerf the fishing minigame part and keep the weakpoint part. Perhaps we could get them to swap to "only crits through the minigame". That would make the rod more engaging and do as you said: provide another crit option for enemies without weakpoints
ah
Idk the name, the one with a wooden wheel on his head xD
so how does a straight down the middle dreamscale/queen outfit work out? Jack of all trades master of none, or thoroughly viable?
What does queen material do again
8/8/8/8 same as perch, just a gem
Oh I thought it was a bunch of hp and stamina and regen for both, or is that the metal
Man I’m really gonna have to learn how her fight works
i think metal. does the queen drop metal as well? yes, 80 hp 40 stam 60/3 regen (boring)
i'm pondering putting together all dreamscale fibre, queen gems everywhere, then build for resists and hp in metal slots. Tired of the current meta ranged/crit squish with no injury resistance 😛
thats basically what im doing, though still using star ruby (bc ive barely entered nightingale on this save)
dreamscale, sentinel, sun giant, einaidia, a little bit of humbaba
I decided to try a melee/ranged/magick build with dreamscale/queen/titan's fingernail and do my best to balance each of the 3 stats on the gear. It loses about 20% melee damage from optimal, but when you already one shot everything with a critstab, that means next to nothing.
I gain the ability to touch things very quickly at range and blast AOE magick, at the cost of health and injury resistance
OK so not what I'm looking for there, since I am feeling old and want more hp and resists to make me feel safe and cozy. I'll drop some of the crit probably in exchange for getting that in.
as if health matters, we all use the charm of resurrection right?
I really should be, given how the queen works. Random question - what charms affect fishing apart from magick bait?
Oh right this charm exists
Should it be applied on a clothing item or any tool is fine?
clothing
sad news for sun giant haters
sword charm only works halfway on knives
it still gives a free critical hit, but it wont give free critstabs
it doesnt destroy the item right? u can still repair it?
"breaks equipped item" as in it reduces your main hand item's durability to 0
for a few seconds after that happens, you are invulnerable, which gives you enough time to hit repair all if you have fast hands
nice, thanks
have reached the soft cap for health regeneration and it is 700
yep, I reached it on most of my weapons and umbrella too, I notified Katari who updated the wiki
And if you don't have quick hands (like me) just launch yourself away with your umbrella, then while flying tab into inv and repair all. Charm of the raven and fabled charm of the umbrella really helps with this tactic.
you can also do this with potions, you need to press space in the air to cancel the effect of the umbrella, press your consumable key, then press space again.
heh, I'm in offline mode, and during Boss Rush 25 - 30 (finally made it to 30) that's me, panic leaping, smashing space bar, Q, space bar, darn hit it twice, QQQ space space, fight, repeat.
I just wanted to thank everyone for their tips and for all the effort of putting together guides, particularly this Min-Max guide. I was able to reach the level 30 Queen 4 out of 7 tries last night, and I was able to beat her 3 out of those 4 attempts! I followed the guide closely, but didn't have all the mats to do it exactly, but it worked out. || I ended up with a mostly ranged build, but I switch the weapon I use depending on the boss I'm fighting. And for Yex and the Bound I use a masterwork sword with critstab thanks to the Dreamscale Perch mats I don't have to change clothes. For most mobs I hit them with bolt action Ice cartridge, then switch to long bow, for the Queen I use the porter mostly.|| Thanks to all the tips I was able to salvage my offline character so I don't have to re-grind online mode!
@tawdry swift Your guid only says hermetics shirt does it matter whether it's casual or formal?
no it doesn't matter that's why there's both on the picture
what is the optimal recipe for masterwork bow arms?
it depends, in any case, you need to use elder eoten wood, einaidia, marble hybrid stone, elder eoten heart and star ruby for the gems, and at the end you need hit 52% crit (or exceed it as little as possible) on the weapon so that when you put a sniper infusion on it for reach 60% crit.
Is there a guide for using Dreamscale, etc. to make a hybrid build now?
It's kinda difficult to make a definitive guide for it, since, unlike the critstab guide or this one, there isn't a single metric to maximize for. Both this guide and the critstab one pretty much just maximize their respective damage type. With a hybrid build, decisions have to be made about how much magic vs crit, or magic vs melee/ranged to put in the build.
If you are interested, I'm tempted to put my current hybrid build in a guide, which attempted to balance the total gear modifier for each of melee/ranged/magick while keeping the crit near cap
Awesome! This is very helpful for me and I hope the community at large.
I think what Kindra has posted will help me to make a build in the near term.
offline, i cant play online
i used to play online, but i moved at the end of february
@tawdry swift sorry for the noobie question, but looking at your guide, specifically the garments, how do I decode the [ 0 1 7 0 1 ] things ? I understand it is the number of mats to use (each kind), but what does it refer to? also, does it matter which mat goes to which part?
each color corresponds to a type of material on the materials page, e.g. green is for pursuit, blue for dreamscale etc.
otherwise the order, or where is what doesn't matter except for leather slot since you can't make leather with fish.
Thanks!
how are you using the masterwork bow arms? When I try to use it as a pole it does not give me the option when making the stock? Or did they already patch it?
Solved it myself. Was tring to make a pole with the bow arm instead of correctly reading and using the arm instead of a pole
Is that the number of raw or processed materials? Like for dreamscale is that the number of fish used or the number of dreamscale cloth?
the number of slots that use these materials is not the total number
the number of times their stats are added to the craft
So essentially just go farm a bunch of each thing?
yes, especially with masterwork weapons and focal shards, you need a lot of gems.
I'm putting this here too as I was asked the question
yes, I'm going to do a page on the other weapons (blunderbuss, revolver, lancaster ) and the umbrella, but I'm waiting to know if the bow arms , sheath, charm etc. "bug" will be kept or not as was the case with the focal shard.
Do you have examples of each finalized MW weapon to see stats? I’ll be honest I looked but couldn’t find on the thread given the length.
between the display bugs on the weapons and the versions with or without masterwork bow arms, I don't really know which screenshot corresponds to what, but I have a few examples.

This is honestly fantastic, just curious what to work toward roughly before customization for my gear. Thank you!
normally the screenshot that I've link, should only be without masterwork bow arm and I hope without display bugs
Any reason why star ruby over automata queen gem?
a star ruby cut gem made with hybrid marbles stone gives 20% crit, a elder eoten heart cut gem made with hybrid marbles stone gives 8% crit and 10% ranged, a automaton queen cut gem give 8% ranged and 8% crit
Aaaaahh so the others stack more, been forgetting abt hybrid stone stuff
Makes sense now! Ty, seems my final weapon has a lot to go before it's done
Does making ingots etched matter, or no?
no it doesn't change anything, the only advantage of etched ingot is that with the right augments and an apogean settler card you can produce more etched ingot than ingot used.
Which augments? I've tried this and didn't get multiplier high enough using the 1.4x and 1.2x mults i have in augments for blacksmithing
The 1.2x blacksmith, 1.4x blacksmith, and 1.4x settler apogean all combined should give you a total 2.352x for etched ingots, resulting in close to a 17.5% yield boost above input
I bet I was doing too small a batch to deal with the new "floor" instead of "round" behaviour. Thanks!
Industry is really good for Ingot Production, does it affect Etched Ingots?
I've tried it, no good. Etched Ingots count as "refined metal items" or whatever is stated on Settler, but they strangely do not count as "Ingots"
So Settler Apogean then for more output of refined items. Does it work on things like Focal Shards?
I don't think that items made with the stone powder count as "carved stone item", but I never tested it
maybe if the pigment used was made with a ore, the focal shard count has refined metal item
I pretty much always have apogean settler on in my main realm. I've never had a focal shard boost
It’s pretty much just “carved stone”.
I've just noticed that I've made a typo for the pack, it's 1 einaidia and 1 pursuit and not two einaidia
fixed
Good to know its working. Also good for all of the Etched Ingots I need for Herbalist.
Sorry if I missed it but I dont really understand. How do I interpret these? https://i.imgur.com/YSaPV6U.png @tawdry swift
Each colour corresponds to a material indicated on the previous page, for example green for pursuit and blue for dreamscale
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/840580191779553290/1363134522274611400/2025-04-19_14h49_47.png?ex=6804ed73&is=68039bf3&hm=24c36f34aa70fc68ebf548c5d557970f2bbacefc539e134f230b90fb187c3ce0&
I've put the two images side by side to make it easier to understand.
Oh nice thank you very much
So is Crit still such a must have state for things that mauls continue to remain meme weapons?
this is even more the case since the last update, but if you don't play in nightmare, nor if you want to reach very high waves in the boss rush, between the masterwork maul and the focal charm, I think you can do enough damage to walk around in the ascended realm in champion difficulty and one shot all the trash mobs
Disappointing. The "Break yourself upon my (poisoned) body" setup I had fell off hard in boss rush anyways, yeah it was basically unkillable but it didn't do nearly enough damage. Plus with things like Jana's Roar always was hoping tanking would be an option.
The boss rush meta is very much crit, so non-crit builds and magick in general are very non-optimal. Hopefully future content changes the meta.
As I said a moment ago (#1286634505582678026 message)
I'm waiting for a hotfix to find out if certain crafts are going to be fixed or not, but it's been a few weeks since there's been a patch, so I imagine it'll come with the next big update and there won't be a little hotfix just for that.
here's everything that's likely to change with the next update:
- The masterwork Longbow recipe require a the master work handle instead of masterwork bow arms (it's going to be fixed it's been confirmed by the devs)
- Masterwork bow arms can be use as a pole in craft
- Masterwork Sheath can be use in textile slot
- Some Fabled charm works on other weapons, like the shotgun charm that works on the blunderbuss
so I'm going to make a poll to get your opinions
ah, and for those who wanted to craft a longbow before the recipe was corrected, I made a very short guide (especially for people who are starting to get the hang of crafting, it's not very beginner friendly)
#1286634505582678026 message
should I update my guide with everything I've mentioned, even if it risks being obsolete with the next update? (and potentially mislead people)

Yes update it
I've been looking into this build, I am a little confused on where to get the fish ? and the widower stuff ? I have found the rest pretty much. Plus what is this Western augment ?
dreamscale can be catch in any water spot in nightingale city, fabled widowers are spiders, you can find them in ascended hunt swamp. And the western augment is a augment provided by the simple saddle
much appreciated! 🙂
According to this formula... is the same having 10 damage and 500 crit or 500 damage and 10 crit ?
It depends, if you mean 500 damage and 10 crit in total (1 + A) * (1 + B) * X = 500 and (1 + C) * (1 + D) * Y = 10 (this formula is simplifying it doesn't include upgrades), for a non-crit,obviously 500 damage is better, for a normal critshot it doesn't matter, but if a critstab, since the crit value is squared, 10 damage and 500 crit is better
it's a old message if you want a more detailed one check this, #nightingale-talk message
but it doesn't take into account the crit soft cap, and it's really not worth going beyond it
the change is negligible (we're talking about +4% crit and -3% ranged), but I redid the gear taking into account the 5% ranged damage that the wangler shirt provides
Where can i farm dream scale perch at? I have all the mats on lock except for that
fishing in the city
Ty
I tested the ptr a bit, the masterwork longbow recipe has been corrected, as well as the use of masterwork bow arms as a pole. The masterwork sheath can still be used as a textile and the fabled charms combination still seems to work.
(see #1286634505582678026 message of context)
I will update next week my guide, taking this into account, same for my crafting guide
( https://discord.com/channels/854679517997695016/1379639060250759188)
... using a master sheath as a textile... that seems broken
there aren't many recipes with textile slot, for the build it only changes gloves and pants
Yeah I made an outfit with that and it’s not wildly broken
It just fits like 2 more qualities into a slot that would ordinarily get 3
But you use an otherwise subpar recipe to use it iirc
Just theory crafting in my grey matter about a flat damage melee health build for the follower. Anna is in a full humbra and noble outfit. Just something to help keep her alive and swinging
now that we're pretty much set on the changes of the next update (cf #1286634505582678026 message), I'm updating my guide
I've added the blunderbuss, and I will add the lancaster and the revolver later this week. for the bows, I'll post the new corrected version when the update comes out with the corrected recipe.
the updated gear page, which I've made several months ago while waiting to find out whether it would still be valid for the next update
Welp... looks like I'm going spider hunting
I've removed the mw long bow page to avoid confusion
where does one craft masterwork sheaths?
you need to buy the mw throwing knives recipe at the watch
when doing the crafting part for each part of the gear how do you know which mat for the part?
Use widower or sheliak as a priority for parts that require leather, since you can't make leather with dreamscale, but otherwise it's up to you as long as you respect the number indicated per piece of gear
how about the winter child's garb?
Except for einadia, since child garb only requires fiber mats, you can put that in whatever order you want
so the number should be 60.7% crit?
Once you've put a sniper infusion on it, it should be around that
if you inspect the child garb, you should have 0.56 crit from dreamscale and 0.08 from the infusion
I just checked ingame, it's 60.7%
thank you my friend was trying to find out how you got 7 1 and 1 but i try to tell him that its base on parts before too.
durable cloth have 3 fiber components, lining 2 so 3+3+2 plus one metal part
you can check my almost finished guide about the craft for more detailed explanation https://discord.com/channels/854679517997695016/1379639060250759188
will check it out thank you.
sorry to bug you but when is the stone powder used? or is it just cut gem it is only used in?
yes stone powder is used only to make cut gem
Stone Powder adds stats, so most of us use the Hybrid verion of Granite or Marble to make it. Make Hybrid Stone, if you are at that crafting level and then grind it.
@tawdry swift for your lever action you say that 5 gem/glass should be made out of fabled elder eoten and 3 out of star ruby, but i only got 2 eoten and 3 star ruby? what could i be missing
3 gems for the cut gem, 3 for the barrel cut gem, 1 for the handle and 1 for the action
im stupid, i forgot the recipe also needs cut gems 🤦♂️
was counting everything else except the last 2 focal shards, ty
by chance instead of the Porter Pistol can you use the same for a Revolver?
use the same what? if you mean the same mats, not really since the mw revolver do not have the same recipe as the mw porter
oh ok sorry didnt see anything for revolver so was curious
It's because when I started making the T5 version of the guide, there was an error in the recipe for a weapon and certain components, so I posted the most worthwhile weapons and then waited to see if it was going to be patched or not, and I haven't really touched the guide since
that makes sense thank you for answering my questions
If I cannot farm einadia can I substitute that with pursuit
For the Bolt Action Rifle
You can farm einadia at c3 coordinate in Sylvain cradle,
But if you want to use pursuit instead of einaidia, replace some star ruby with elder eoten heart until you’re below the crit soft cap
Thanks
If I have the time and inclination, I will try to update this guide before the end of the week:
-redo a page for the mw longbow, since I removed it because its recipe changed with the latest update
-maybe add one for the revolver
-create a page about charms
-create a page about critstabs
-redo the images/videos from the first post, which are no longer really representative of the build
@tawdry swift would love to see the mw longbow guide
so question if you cannot get the masterwork sheathe yet what would you recommend for the gloves and leg pieces?
You can get mw sheath by purchasing the mw throwing knives blueprint
But the best textile component beside the mw sheath is the durable cloth
thanks Ill just use that for now dont have the Nightingale coins to buy it atm
just posting so this shows up in my channel list again
WIP range crit damage focused Build guide [check the first message and those pinned]
In case anyone wants a recipe for a masterwork throwing knife sheath: #nightingale-talk message
Does anyone have a masterwork longbow recipe?
I have redone the umbrella page to update it since the previous one isn't craftable anymore
Nice, I'll probably use my unoptimized ones still for now. I just went overboard on crit, so my ranged is a bit low currently
Is the shotgun in this guide not supposed to hit the crit soft cap?
Or did I do something dumb?
Actually, I bet it hits it with the infusion
Yes, without any infusion, you should have x1.694 crit (i.e +54%) on the shotgun
However, I would recommend the blunderbuss instead. It deals twice as much damage, allows you to use the shotgun charm and therefore critstab with it, and its charm increases its capacity to 3 shots
I'm going to craft everything, so I'm not too concerned about making all the most meta stuff first
What kind of T5 fish is this and where can I get it?
If you mean Dreamscale Perch, it's found in any water in Nightingale City (though there's a minimum fishing rating needed to catch it - if you don't get any, try making clothing with more fishing rating)
I started taking illustration clips, I don't know yet whether I'll continue doing them without minor cards as a duelist and without other buffs, or with them
An update on the upcoming patch:
-
Ice ammunition has been nerfed, now it's +100% to 600 magick instead of 200 magick, which has no impact since my build allows me to exceed 700 magick with any masterwork ranged weapon
-
The Masterwork Sheath can no longer be used as textile, so I will revert to the old version of the gear page once the patch is released
Know we have a patch on the PTR but are these still the most up to date recipes? For some reason im having trouble finding them lol
here #1286634505582678026 message, I always update the first posts in the guide, they are also pinned
The ptr patch in now on the live branch, I have put back the guide from before the use of mw sheath
the rifle i made by those guides i think is around 212 magick. or does it count the total magick stat on your character holding a rifle, and not just weapon magick?
magick power works in the same way than damage, it's your total than count not only the magick power of your weapon
you should exceed 600 of magick with the current build, I've nearly 800 with all my weapon but I've made my gear before some patches than nerf some components
i have full-magick clothing so i think im fine then ;D
also, i see Gastric Defiance mentioned as almost mandatory charm. Is it just defensive, or does it increase damage in some way i dont know about?
it's just a defensive charm
readability for people with color blindness
2
3
1
it's perfectly readable
ok i will admit im to stupid to understand this for 1 simple reason. Example Childs' Garb it says 7 Dreamscale, garb uses 4 cloth 1 lining, 4 durable cloth with take 8 cloths made of fish so why does it says 7 i cannot comprehend that, taking that 1 is for lining widow(maybe) it makes no sence to me. Plz someone explain those numbers in such a way i understand where goes what animal and how does it combine at the end.
one lining means 2 dreamscales, it's not the total number of material used, but the number of times that the dreamscale "adds its stats",
i.e : if you use a cloth, it's +8% (crit/magick/melee/ranged), a lining it's 2x so 16% and a durable cloth it's 3x so 24%
7 dreamscale for the child's garb means at the end you will add 7x the dreamscale stats to the child's garb
Oh my god now it makes sense, so for example i use all fish for durable and in last lining part i use half fish half spider i assume?
yes
@tawdry swift I'm working through the story and it looks like hte handguns go revolver vs lancaster route. I think you have the lancaster tree in your build (I'm assuming based on looks). I'm curious your thoughts on whether one is better or just personal preference.
Its damage are good, especially with an umbrella. But like the bolt action, they remain behind in terms of DPS with high fire-rate weapons once you’ve unlocked fabled charms
Been reading through your guide, and questioning something. You have a build for both lever-action and bolt-action, but in the comments you mentioned the bolt-action doesn't do well without fabled charms.
Currently, I'm using a revolver for quick close-range (mobs), shotgun for big close range (bosses and bruisers) and a lever-action for longer-range (tossing a sword in for when the revolver is overwhelmed). Is this a generally good setup? Is lever better than bolt? Is blunderbuss better than shotgun? Is Lancaster better than revolver? Or is it minimal and mostly personal preference.
Tbh the bolt action fabled charm isn't great, in my message, I meant to say that once the fabled charms are unlocked, the bolt action no longer holds up.
Before the update that added ng city, t5 weapons and fabled charms, I mainly played bolt-action/longbow and a revolver.
But now I mainly with lever-action, porter and blunderbuss for critstab.
IMO, now the strong ones are either those that can critstab or those that have the best fire rate (even though I would have preferred that the weapons that require the most rigour be the ones that are most effective)
blunderbuss can use the shotgun fabled charm and its own fabled charm, so it's basically a shotgun with x2 damage and 3 hits
The Lancaster has better damage and range than the revolver, but it's slower. Apart from the Ascended Realm in Nightmare mode and the boss rush, any weapon can be used, so it's more a matter of preference
That’s great feedback! Thank you. I wasn’t sure what made one or another superior, so I really appreciate that amount of detail!
Is there a page where I can see which charms I can use with which weapon and which ones don't work? like Fabled Charm of the Porter Pistol with lever-action rifle
charm or spell?
fabled charm of the shotgun works on the blunderbuss, fabled charm of the short bow works on the long bow, and the fabled sword charm works on the knife
I may have forgotten some others
oh yeah. i mean charm. sorry. for example Fabled Charm of the Sickle with a sword or Fabled Charm of the Long Bow with a short bow
It could have been that someone created a table 😄 thanks
I make crits with 200k. So i will find out, which Charms are additive and i can use in combo to deal tons of dmg like you in your Videos
I guess by additive, you mean that they are not in a separate factor (i.e added in the gear stat factor), it's the case for most of the charm like steadiness, damage added by those charms are negligible. Some like patience are added in a separate factor (but the condition of this charm makes it not really useful). You can check what charm which I consider essential, in the first message and on the weapon craft pages
most of my damage come from my weapon my gear and the ice debuff, (and the shotgun fabled charm for the blunderbuss)
So, charms stack, yes? If I have 2 essence charms on equipped items, I get that bonus twice?
and I'm assuming if the item isn't equipped/active, it doesn't count?
so adding a sniper charm on my hunting knife is just a bad idea
No, charms do not stack with themselves (multiple of the same charm do not provide additional benefit)
And yes, the item must be equipped to be effective (as in, actively in use)
ok, cool - that actually means I can do more things, not deeper things, if you understand me
Thank you so much for your answer. I have one more question. You use the "Charm of Called Shots" on each of your weapons. Can I also use the "Charm of Called Shots" on clothing to apply another "Fabled Charm" to each weapon, or would the "Charm of Called Shots" then no longer work?
you can use called shot on clothing, just be aware that It increases increases crit damage, significantly increases critstab damage but slightly reduces stabbing damage
ok thank you very much😊
(Okay, that's sad. The fabled charm of the sickle doesn't work with a sword. 😅 )
Like all other crit builds, it's now outdated. I'll take a look at it next week.
After several tests, it seems that the crit caps have not been changed on the weapons. I do not know if this is intentional or not.
Well, I've started looking at all the changes in detail to update the build. It's going to take me quite a bit of testing for various reasons, especially if I'm going to have to invest in magick or not.
What's more, I'm not sure rushing into calculations is a good idea:
- there may be new T5 materials that haven't been discovered yet
- the crit caps haven't been updated on weapons, which may be an oversight and could therefore be patched shortly
lots of new materials can olny be found in chests. I don't know how long it will take to gather enough
After a few tests, I managed to reach almost the same levels of damage as before the update. I'm going to make sheets for the weapons, but for the gear it's going to take much longer
For pistols, I've noticed that it's better to stay below the cap than to exceed it slightly.
2863.848×4.006=11472.575
2927.964×3.962=11600.593
Well, the gain is very small ~1.1%
(and despite my doubts, magic won't be a problem at all)
Have you released the crafting guide for Lancaster?
No, there are still resources that have been discovered and cannot be gather quickly. I will not update my guide until we are sure that everything has been discovered
Gotcha, I was wondering the build path for the picture you posted here, I didn't want to mess it up. Just got to end game and I want to make sure I put the items in the right slots.
You can use the build guide in the second post (#1286634505582678026 message), it will be more than enough to reach wave 30 of the boss rush. You can improve it a little by replacing the Eoten Hearts with Awenite and adding a little more dreamscale than indicated. Use the blunderbuss for "stabbing" (with the shotgun fabled charm) on yex and the helmsman bound (the bound with the wheel on the head) because it's impossible to crit them without stab him with the shotgun/blunder and the shotgun fabled charm
For the Lancaster, you can try copying the one I posted two messages above, but higher tier ebon wood was discovered, so it's not perfect
from memory it's t1 western, t1 assassin, t1 + t3 military augments, lumber mill card, 3 gem slots in awenite, all other gem slots in star ruby, 1 metal slot in pursuit, the rest in einaidia
I'll try that, thank you. I just reached NG City and still kind of new to the crafting system, so I don't want to make errors
Which amulets do you recommend for the build?
(I know from the ng channel that you mean charms) Those in the preamble and those indicated on the weapon sheets #1286634505582678026 message
It's been a few days since any new materials were found, I've collected quite a few new materials (hopefully enough). This weekend, I'm going to start theory crafting to update the guide.
The weapon crit caps have been corrected; they are now 80% and 95%, as on gear, so I need to redo my weaopn that I've already thoery crafted
I started testing to see if it's worth putting less crit, then I'll update the weapon guides. For gear, it will certainly take longer
Noting that swapping the same amount of Einadia for Titan Fingernail, while at the same time still swapping the same amount of Awewite and Star Ruby, does not change the final result, since Awewite has the same stats as Einadia, and Titan's Fingernail has the same stats as Star Ruby
Oo, thanks for the updated infographic guides. I haven’t looked at nightingale in a while and this gives a cool condensed view of top end changes
Is lever-action still greatly superior to bolt action? Sorry if this is too offtopic
yes, unfortunately, the bolt action didn't receive any buff ( The bug with his charm has been fixed , but I don't think it changes anything)
Ah, thanks for letting me know 🙂
