Plant Box Traits

Confusing plant box traits. if left outside it gets the exposed trait which increases growth time and has a downward red arrow indicating its an unwanted trait. place a fire next to it and it gets the well lit and warm traits which have the same text as exposed but a green upward arrow indicating its a wanted trait... very confusing.

anybody know what the best setup for a plant box is?

The red arrow on the Exposed status is a bug, it's supposed to be green.
They grow faster when exposed
