Currently when traversing different realms it’s gotten to the point that I’m able to recognize the layout of different locations as I have seen it nearly copy pasted in multiple places and realms so going forward will the generation become more diverse for locations and such within the realms?

I'm sure they will add new POI's to each major card's pool over time.

Our portals are Crude. Which implies higher Tier portals. Which could produce much more varied realms, possibly even combined Biomes. And the portals even have augment slots, which means even more customization. I have a feeling what we have now is the very tip of a large iceberg

Crude is the tileset. All the portals are identical and the cards are the only variable that controls where they go. The augment slots may be a vestigial remnant from them copying over the buildable object prefab.
