HAH I knew it. Thanks for this. I've been watching so many people complain the build limit is too low and while sure it could be changed, I just knew it was a matter of time before someone figured out how to do something like this

may i ask how you managed to make your bridge with the arches? I've been looking on how to do this and i can't seem to figure it out properly because i need foundations but I don't see them in your screenshot

that is one building feat that is legit throwing me for a loop lol

from my testing use the buildable door frames that look like arches

i'm sorry I mean I know those build pieces but those are door arches and need to sit on a foundation but i don't see any foundation on theirs

ye like i said he made foundations, you know you can clip the foundations under the earth and still build on it right? hold R then scroll wheel down

it takes some practice to get a hang of it but it is possible

i guess you guys think I mean the overhang build from the first but I am talking about the bridge over the water which is not the same. I believe they prob hid away the foundation in the rock formation but i'm really curious on how they went about building the start of it to have that foundation so low in the water. and I want to talk building with the person... it's odd you guys are trying to respond for them lol

Sorry, was sleeping. I do indeed have the foundations under the water by placing the foundation at just the right height on land so when I carefully added the next foundation it would snap just below the water line. (It would actually disappear and I had to hope it was in the right spot, thankfully the game will still let you delete a piece even if it's buried if you make a mistake) Then I added the pillars and used flat roof pieces for the walkway.

called it! also the foundation can be seen on the far right when the rocks in the middle are gone (might be rendering from afar) but if you zoom in you can see it normaly

I was indeed really curious about how you managed to do it while not being able to view the foundation clipped under as that was the same when I was trying it out but it was getting so confusing on where i even put it lol thanks for the clarification 🙂

Made a new tudor style manor trying to utilize the octagon. Think it came out alright, but already planning some changes. 🙂

Not sure what you mean. I built the tower first and then just connected the house and deck off the side.

Having the 8 sides to build off of allows some fun stuff.

My favorite is the stacked spiral staircase in the center of the tower, look so good every time I walk by.

It's like that piece was designed with a round room in mind

Absolutely stunning! Did you build this in an abeyance realm? I haven't seen waterfalls or even the rock face statue in the basic realm.

I just did, but I seem to be hitting a global build limit. I can't place any more furniture anywhere on any structure even though none are touching

I am only 269/350 (it doesn't change when I stand on other structures) and 14/100

Objects still show as green but cannot be placed anywhere. Any ideas?

I know when I first log in the display is wrong for the number of Items placed, Says like 178 or something then when I place something the number shows correct which is currently 326. Maybe try deleting an Item (nothing important incase it wont let you replace it) and see if you can place something else and look to see if the number updates. (my guess is you're really at 350 and it's just displaying wrong. Just a guess tho)

Added a 16 side for my portal space solution.

How the heck did you get the 16 side structure?

Basically the same as the Octagon but you blueprint out out 2 spaces from each side, making a plus sign. Then delete the middle block on each side leaving the center blueprint and the 4 outer edge blueprints. Next copy the center block and line it up perfectly, next rotate the mouse wheel one click and place the blueprint. Make a plus sign, delete everything but the center block and outer edge blueprints and repeat until you have a 16 sided building. Credit to @void oasis for first building one.
