So I see that For magic - hermetic's, for melee - druidic, but calcularian and explorer doesn't look any better. Or am I missing something?

Hermetic and Druidic are supposed to be the highest tier. They aren’t always the best choice. If you want ranged damage, the calcularion headwrap is straight up the best hat and it isn’t even close.

Not just for the base 15%, but also because you can craft it with a Pursuit Ornament for even more range damage.

Also the druidic coat and/or jacket seem to be broken right now, since they don't apply their resistances. Saw multiple reports on that

If you look at the recipe at the vendor and click on the drop down arrow and then on the actual recipe displayed on the dropdown, it will show materials required.

Also the resistances seem to work fine for me. My miasma is around 100% and I just stand in it and take like 1 tick of damage
