When I turned DLSS on and put everything on performance, it froze. Now I load the game and it immediately freezes then crashes every time. I can't even proceed anymore. tried four times and gave up. Only option I see is re-installing to reset these settings.

If you need to reset your graphics settings, you can go to %localappdata%\nwx\saved\config and delete the contents of that folder, then restart the game - it should revert settings to default again

I deleted the DLSS folder and it fixed the issue, basically deleted the file created by switching to DLSS.
I went into steam
right clicked the game (Nightengale)
went to manage
browse local files
Engine folder
Plugins
runtime
Nvidia (cause thats the brand of my GPU)
DLSS was with streamline, I deleted DLSS and it worked
