seelie and unseelie is old old celtic mythology about the fae. its been around for thousands of years 😛

as it's folklore it's been a thing for a long long time - and let's just say it's playing along the seasons, and the warm summer full of bounty got a fae court that is more attuned to that. While the Winter Court is more on the harsh and unforgiving side of things.
Dealing with fae in general can always be dangerous - but if unseelie fae prank you, you might lose more then just your favorite box of snuff or bottle of booze
