Normally it means you don't have a verified email address on Github, or that you already have a different account on Exercism with that GH user.

I just removed Exercism's access to my github account, seems to work as well 😮

Yeah I did, thought I might as well create a new Github account. Didn’t really have any repositories on my old one that were worthwhile keeping.

And I don’t really use GitHub a lot (yet).
