The idea behind this design is that it’s got a cage in front that’s able to hold a leviathan sized species with relative ease, though it floats in the surface in the water, so any leviathan has to be lured towards it!

Just got the first WIP for another Subnatica ship design I came up with!

That triangular thing in front is meant to hold the one person submersibles (mostly the Seamoth, though) and the cranes are for picking up both vehicles and placing them on the deck or the containment unit up front, and for lowering them back into the water.

Ice Loft Leviathan? Short concept for a PDA entry:
The Ice Loft leviathan, is seemingly blind and senses movement through the water by leaving out its icy tentacles, the bioluminescence on these tentacles are used like the anglerfishes of the earth, to attract prey, this is most effective at night or at very deep locations.

Smarts and appearance: This predator shows surprisingly smart tactics, as the briefly aforementioned bioluminescence helps it catch prey is hugs to a glacier or icy wall and stays there until it sense movement in the water, it slowly emits a low frequency that resembles glaciers breaking so that it doesn't sound unusual, but really this is echolocation, once the exact location of the prey is pinpointed it quickly turns and snatches it into its jaws, when not hungry, they can be found swimming around but they will still be aggressive.

Assessment: Great threat, avoid at all costs.
