Well, the logo being in the background is a common thing to do in thumbnails. It brings the base into the foreground and makes it more of a focal point. Otherwise, it wouldn't be noticeable. I've done it in all of my BZ thumbnails

Total hottie

This one was a major struggle so some of its kinda off. Not a lot of high definition images and I was kinda mixing two reference photos together at times so some things don’t line up perfectly. Nonetheless I’m pretty satisfied with it. Up next is the shadow leviathan and finally the ancient skeleton to complete my sandshark, or multipedes, clade collection!

Well, it’s a rideable leviathan I’m making as my first mod. It’s even my first true sculpture so I don’t really care. I’m proud of it and I like the way it looks. I’m not asking for critique, I’m just showing you what I’ve done.

And for doing the whole thing using a mousepad on a laptop and IBIS paint on my phone using my finger, I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I don’t care if others don’t like it. Sure, it’s not perfect, but there’s more than just the bad parts of everything.

I had an idea a while ago for the opposite of a floater, which latches onto you with pincher-like teeth and drags you further from the surface to go back into a cave

The deep nautiloid I believe is eventually what I turned into that creature

Oh, and this unused crater leviathan idea I had a while ago, which would drag you down to 1500m in like 5 seconds, keep you in the dark for another 5 and then open its glowing eyes to look at you before devouring you whole in a rapid animation

Just because I love the horror aspect of subnautica and thought I wanted to give myself a nice heart attack for the hell of it with that idea lmao

the peeper beak is based off birds that eat pinecone seeds, the lower fin is to help through tangled weeds

and for the freshwater stalker i sort of thought of an inbetween between the origenal and alex ries's snow stalker, something adapted for thick mud and shallow waters that would be too muddy for the open sea species and too wet for the artic species

then just the friggen frogmouth gulper, get near and it will try to suck you closer before a lightly damageing bite

the broadhead sweeper was just an exuse to do stripe coloring, lives in freshwater kelp forrest

While everyone else wants sn 3 to be void based, to be honest I think I like your idea more. What if the third game was set in a freshwater area. Like some alien natural phenomenon caused an area of ocean to be fresh water

This is a common misconception. Subnautica was never intended to have a horror aspect at all. That was completely accidental. But this would be cool in a more horror focused game.

I really like the horns you've got on this bad boy, its lookin great so far! Honestly i'd say maybe take the white background and tone it down to like a gray color just so your dragon stands out a little more, maybe make the teeth a tad bit bigger so they dont get lost in the scales as much. Overall i think it looks good tho and you've definitely made progress from the first version, also the frills (fins?) you've got on the outside look wicked!

Hey, I’ve got this WIP of a ship design I thought up, which I thought might be rather cool!

I don’t have exact measurements really nailed down, but it’s large enough to be able to hold a leviathan inside a container, and large enough to be able to push said container around with relative ease.

I’ve also commissioned the same artist to draw up another ship, one that floats around at the surface with a sort of pool in front of it, and cranes on the sides to pick up Prawn suits and Seamoths, to put into the pool thing for storage!
