does anyone else have a cool idea for a fictional character that you can picture perfectly well in your head but you can't draw them for the life of you

this is my issue at the moment lol

I have a fictitious alien species I've come up with, I plan for them to be major characters in a book series I eventually plan to write
the design was inspired by Jackals from Halo or whatever you call those things, although a lot of the design is quite different
think of it as like a sort of semi-humanoid reptilian creature, somewhat like one of those white Orcs from the Hobbit movies, only with a giant crown of spines coming out the back of their head a little like the Bewilderbeast from How To Train Your Dragon 2
as I said I can picture it in my head but no matter how hard I try to draw one it always ends up looking like absolute crap
