Azalea Leviathan
This colossal, Leviathan-Class predator is closely related to the Sea Dragon Leviathan, sharing that species' claws, tail-mounted tendrils and basic appearance. It also shares the Ghost Leviathan's extreme bioluminescence. It has evolved to hunt in the Grand Reef, eating any poor organism to come its way. Its stalk-mounted eyes are highly-developed and unlike any fauna seen on the planet.

1. Bioluminescence:
   Used to locate other Azaleas in order to prevent inter-species predation. Also used to attract prey fish, unable to see the organism bearing the dazzling colours, enabling them to be promptly consumed. The Bioluminescencent spine is also used to move in the water.

2. Appendages:
   The Azalea posesses four sets of appendages, only the front two can be moved by it. The first set bear the claws. The second set are for propulsion, giving the Azalea even more directional control in the water. The third set are for directional control, not unlike those seen in the Reaper Leviathan, and the fourth are specifically for attracting prey. All appendages posess wavy sections of stinging cells, like the Drooping Stingers seen on the planet.

3. Claws: Razor-sharp claws for butchering prey.

4. Teeth: Razor-sharp teeth to easily shred and eat prey. WARNING: Simulations show only 25% of its bite force can cripple even a PRAWN Suit.

Assessment: Extreme Threat, Avoid in all circumstances.

The Phantom Leviathan is a carnivorous species on 4546B, usually found patrolling the depths of the Bulb Zone. The scanned specimen is approximately 125 meters in length, being only slightly bigger than the largest adult Ghost Leviathans found within the Crater Edge. This Leviathan-class organism has be observed to be fairly aggressive, and, it being between the territories of the Ghost Leviathan (Lost River) and Reaper Leviathan (Mountains) as well as in the area of the Sea Dragons’ tunnel to the surface, is often seen attacking other Leviathan-class organisms. Even with it’s access to larger food sources, it’s main method of sustaining itself is preying on the common species of the Bulb Zone: the Ampeel. This Leviathan’s DNA does not match the majority of the living creatures found on planet 4546B, suggesting it might be similar in age to the Sea Dragon Leviathan, or possibly even older. Similar to the Lava Zone dweller, this Leviathan appears to be nearing extinction, it’s numbers remaining within the single digits.

1. Detection
   The Phantom Leviathan is completely blind, rendering it’s three sets of eyes completely useless. Rather than using sight, this organism uses echolocation, similar to the Reaper Leviathan. The Leviathan does not appear to be hostile towards smaller creatures, largely ignoring them unless they’re travelling in a large group, implying the creature will not be aggressive towards humans unless they’re near its prey, eggs, or in a vehicle.

2. Physical Features
   The Phantom Leviathan has a large amount of essential features, decorative features, and features that may serve an unknown purpose. The five faintly bioluminescent sails of this Leviathan, one located on the back, two on its tail, and two smaller ones along it’s lower sides, serve to aid the large creature in both swimming ability and attraction. The sails give this beast the ability to move much quicker through the water and aid in turning while also appearing colorful and flashy in order to attract mates. There are also several features to aid in combat, such as its curved horns and two rows of retractable teeth. These are usually only used to aid in fights with other Leviathans, as the Phantom Leviathan is able to eat the majority of its prey whole. The bulb atop its head, being reminiscent of Earth’s angler fish, is also used to attract prey to its location, where the Phantom will quickly sense it and devour it whole. The powerful fins and tail of the organism appear to be its main way of mobility, being somewhat thin in order for it to glide through the water at extreme speeds. The only feature whose purpose remains unknown would be the long whiskers that protrude from the sides of the creatures’ muzzle. While the best running theory is that they have a similar purpose to cat whiskers, this does not fit the biome in which the Leviathan resides, implying that the landscape has shifted dramatically over time, and these whiskers are just leftovers of evolution.

3. Ability
   By far the most dangerous feature of the Phantom Leviathan, this organism has been discovered to have the ability to cloak for a period of time suspected to be between 10-20 minutes in order to hide itself from both prey and possible predators. This feature is what gave the Phantom Leviathan its name, and makes travelling through the Bulb Zone incredibly dangerous without the proper upgrades to your vehicles. While there is no way to force it to uncloak, the scanner on the Cyclops and Seamoth appear to be able to detect the creature’s signal while it's cloaked and outline it, giving the opportunity to quickly prepare for a potential attack or escape as fast as possible.

Damage to Player: 100 HP (Instant Death)

Damage to Seamoth: 70-90 HP

Damage to Cyclops: 225-250 HP

Damage to PRAWN Suit: 20-30 HP

Assessment: Aggressive; Avoid in all circumstances

Our first regional form, Mystorian Charizard! This one is heavily based off of a spinosaurus in regards to body structure and the sail-like flames. I had a more realistic rendition but had to simplify it for ArtFight purposes.
Mystorian Charizard is not something to mess with. The reason its skin pigment is so off is because it is entirely nocturnal, hiding deep within caves until it feels the need to feed, its primary prey being the souls of living creatures. The larger the flames on its back, the more souls it has devoured. Training one is not recommended, though that does not mean it is impossible.
