they can be at any deph ones with thicker walls (can also withstand more pressure) will sink bigger ones with medium to thin wals will float up to the surface so big ones with real thicc walls will be deep.... wonder if they can get big enogh for having a mini base?

purple one is a dragon with immense fire powers, pink one is a scientist and mechanic who runs a fleet of spaceships, green one is a Spirit Warden who guides souls and heals memories, blue one is a ghost who helps guide the purple one and the brown one, and the brown one is a little tree dude who can heal stuff and is taken in by the purple and green one

Oh yes, it does have quite a 'beak'.

#

My idea is they can be tamed, but only bond to one person, and are very fickle about who they bond to. And they can be ridden. They also have a beautiful 'song' or call that can calm other creatures in the water. Aka, a siren's song.

They'll also come in a variety of colors similar to the nudibranch!

There's a subnautica creature, not entirely unlike it ^-^ Not exactly the same of course, it's a rather neat idea with some unique elements. Like, that sounds like it'd be a very efficient hunter if it can calm its prey

That's a neat idea about the coral! This guy can travel across different depths and can adapt its bioluminescent and color layout to protect itself from potential predators (as it does have a relatively soft body). It's beak is the only hardened bone-like area. I do know its beak helps with catching prey.

Yup, carnivore!

Very sleek and streamline.

#

But it's not outright dangerous. It'll avoid conflict if it can help it.

It'll flash colors like it's a poisonous animal, it'll cloak itself like a cuddlefish, or it'll dart away.

Its 'frills' are meant to resemble seaweed or kelp, as well.

Poisonous animals do tend to be really colourful, like ladybugs!

a while back i made this a idea for a biome where small creatures like the pinguins can hide, I'm going to start a contest to see who can think of the best idea, some voting, most realistic movrment/actions (subnautica logic) and best illustrated would be the winner, the contest is to make a predator and give it a way to get to the pray on the inside, be as creative as you can. Put a snlogo on this if your taking part, and there will be 18 hours after this is posted to submit your art with @frigid jacinth
