Do bulk head doors just slow down flooding, because the entire protect part of the base if it’s shut isn’t working

open and close the door and if there's no breaches in the sealed off parts of the base it will actually pump the water out.

Bulkheads physically separate chunks of your base, so they don't really slow down the flooding so much as split it into zones that flood independently of one another.

I also love that the fastest way to move is basically the equivalent of sr40 in doom.

If you're missing component a file's verification should solve the issue, same if you reinstalled. There you have an error due to burst, you can look for a lib_burst_generated.txt inside SubnauticaZero\SubnauticaZero_Data\Plugins (maybe subfolders), otherwise you would have to check the crash dump in C:/Users/ANDRIE~1/AppData/Local/Temp/Unknown Worlds/Subnautica Below Zero/Crashes.

If you get the prawn with drill, there’s some silver in lilypad caves, there might be some in Koppa I forget, and there’s some in other places around the map as well
