The tiny Pink Pirahnas are actually protecting the Titanfish. that thing the looks like a circle withthe hole in the middle. If you avid that the Pirahnas wont bother you

Dying in SN and BZ are a bit weird. It depends on what you had in your inventory before entering a Base, Lifepod/Drop Pod, Cyclops, or the Seatruck. If you pick up any items while outside of those things, and you happen to die, you will lose those things. But if you enter one the mentioned player-constructed vehicle/habitats or Lifepod/Drop Pod, everything in your inventory will be saved.
