No, simply ignore it or enjoy the show. Repair, take health kits and continue. Nothing else to do. And the thumber is only useful when you are stationary. So actually not at all.

It does that sometimes, itās an issue thatāll eventually be fixed in some future update where thereāll be phantom scanner pings, or sometimes incorrectly label something the scanner room picks up (such as the image I posted where it incorrectly labeled a Ruby)

I understand if people want to play on PC & prefer kbm input but just canāt afford a PC of their own, that makes at least some sense to me, but like Kaveta mentions if youāre a console player to begin with, controllers work just fine (in fact some PC players prefer to use a controller to play certain PC games).
Anyway, providing kbm support isnāt necessarily a developer-dependent decision, sometimes console doesnāt support it, or only partially (maybe keyboard only, or for certain types of input).
I canāt imagine what youād need a keyboard for in Subnautica on console unless youāre using a lot of commands (which is outside the scope of normal play anyway)

I started out on Xbox 360 first ever console and I just worked up on the Xboxās I grew up with them but now I play PC and Vr with Xbox. There are some benefits like quick choosing of items/weapons instead of having to go through your inventory like minecraft and subnautica. But the buttons can be a bit confusing and do take some time to get used to. There is also something called WASD syndrome, I canāt remember what it is but you can look it up if you want

I have released a crash fish, that one explodes immediately, then I have released a lily paddler and that one does not mesmerize you anymore, so it stays friendly. And I released a sea monkey baby in a sea monkey cave and it does not grow anymore. Cant tell about any other creature.

I would not, its unpredicatable. But what you can do is save the game, release them and see what happens and then go back to your saved game.

But dont release aliens where you did not get a spare egg to breed them, because you will never get them back in the tank. Brute shark is not a problem because there are so many eggs, but others you only get two eggs and that's it. You need two to breed more.

I'd rather keep the resources cuz that's a lot when you use a lot of beacons
My tip: When you spawn in, there will be (to my knowledge) 6 food blocks and 6 water bottles scattered on the ground around you, so before leaving (you can always come back but i always take them with me at the start) look around a nd try finding them. As i said, you can always get back, so just leave the flares where they are. They just clog your inventory cuz i never see myself using them
And some storage chests also contain flares, i leave those as well until i have enough storage for everthing and then spare room for garbage like that

And as said before, you'll come across Sea Monkeys. Scan the stuff in their nests cuz there's fragments from for example Laser Cutter, Mobile Vehicle Bay and Seaglide in them. When Sea Monkeys start chasing you (just like Stalkers do, you'll just see them casually swim towards you) just put away your tool so they can't steal it

Literally anything. Simply put a growbed or some plant pots next to the bioreactor and plant something there to put in the reactor. Fevered pepper tree and preston plants are a good combination.
