Well the issue with it is that it's not really common knowledge, normally when people encounter a bug they at some point try to save and quit and see if that fixes it.. With this that works against you unfortunately.

If you're curious why btw, it's for the simple reason that they can make the hardware cheaper because you can only buy from their store. They make the money back from you buying games on their platform, so they may lose money or make no additional money from you purchasing a device but because they take a cut from the games on their platform they'll eventually get it back 🙂
