I figured, eh, squidshark right? NOOOOO. I go over to my seatruck and turn around and just about freak out when I see this thing followed me and that’s what I nearly brushed up against!👀

I found both kyanite and nickle way easier to get in this game, I was so used to having to go 600+ m for nickle and over a thousand for kyanite, in BZ both are considerably shallower and also the kyanite is mostly small pieces instead of large deposits

in Subnautica I could drive circles around the Reapers in my Seamoth and just laugh at them but every time I try to outmanoeuvre a Chelicerate or Shadow in this game it gets me almost every time regardless of how much I turn or dodge
I feel like the creature AIs for the leviathans here might be smarter, they actually hone onto your vehicle and grab it while the Reaper just charges at you like a missile and pretty much goes in a straight line

Yeah, i think its because of the lack of leviathans. In subnautica you had a lot of guys who could destroy you, just to name a few: reaper, crab squid, jelly crab. And in below zero the only guys that pose a threat are chilis and shadow, so it makes sense that they have more ferocity

I really like the design of below zero monsters. Squid shark has the really cool mega mouth, and the chilliserate jaws are really cool too. When i am getting the eaten animation for any three of the leviathans i can really feel that behind the steel and glass, i would be eaten in a painful death

the Deep Twisty Bridges is not safe at all for early game lol, between the Squidsharks and the Spikey Traps I'd almost always come out of there with no medkits left and my health at like 5%
my first death in my new save was to a Spikey Trap, I was trying to scan it as it pulled me in and I thought I might have a chance of escape cause my health wasn't totally gone yet but I wasn't expecting it to fricking eat me whole lmao, I thought they only latched onto your arm xD

I was so scared of Chelicerates at first because I was trying to scan a Seatruck module fragment in the Purple Vents fissure, and it attacked me once but I kept trying to scan it and it attacked me again and swallowed me whole
but somehow I forgot it had attacked me twice so I thought that it had the ability to eat me in one bite with full health like a Sea Dragon 😂 I stayed away from that area for quite a while afterwards

You know that you can craft more than one O2 tank. That gives you more time underwater. But you have to remember to fill it manually.
And the air bladder in BZ is very efficient to get back to the surface.
