First time I played BZ I got really unlucky. The bow part of the Mercury 2, where there are prawn suits, had a squidshark trapped in it, and I was trying to scan stuff down there and not die And I thought (since it was my first run) there was one in there all the time and I was like omg this just really sucks

You know something interesting? The perimeter defense module is on top of, I forget, either the table or one of those fragment boxes, something until you enter the room and have a tussle with Preston the snow stalker. And then it’s knocked off I guess, because you have to pick it up off the floor

I personally don't even engage with aggressive creatures- instead, I try to steer clear as best I can. I make sure to bring health kits in case anything bad happens. I also save often so that I can reload my save file if something really bad happens.

coming straight from subnautica the movement felt weird, the pda voice was mildly annoying, the objectives were lowkey unclear unless you looked up a guide

im 100% certain i would've been looking for 20 more hours because stuff is just painfully unexplained and hidden in places where you dont even think something could exist
