I put the cabin in a moonpool when I'm not using it usually and just leave my modules chained together outside my base so I can rearrange them and make the Seatruck that I need at any given time

I've legitimately done the unimaginable. I used one UHC tank, rebreather, quick fins, and a seaglide. I have swam from the crystal caves up to the water surface. Then back down.

If they are updated below zero it would be nice to get some new vehicle upgrades for all 3 vehicles. Currently the sea truck has 4 slots and 4 upgrades all not stackable so after you put the upgrades in you never need to take them out. The prawn suit has again 4 slots and 4 upgrades but the storage is stackable and there is the different arm upgrades to mix and match with. And the snow fox only has 1 slot and two different upgrades. Would be cool to see a stackable hull reinforcement upgrade added for both water vehicles . A sea truck stackable solar charger and sonar upgrade. And possibly a new snow fox upgrade, maybe a hover upgrade that allows you to click a button while falling to avoid taking damage

Yes, once you’ve been to the greenhouse you can go back and scan additional things

But the first visit you want to scan the TOM, get the perimeter defense module (which gets knocked to the floor in your scuffle with the snow stalker lol), and scan snowfox fragment. Also there’s a pda to collect, and you can scan Maida’s prawn. You can also scan the large room and moonpool if you’ve not scanned them somewhere else previously (or gotten the moonpool databox prior)

It doesn’t offset infinitely, but if you’ve got I think it’s 3 or less modules it makes a significant difference in the overall speed of the seatruck

And what’s super nice, some don’t realize this until much later, once you’ve discovered I think it’s ||4 of the alien artifacts you unlock the recyclotron|| that lets you recycle things back into their constituent components…so what’s awesome is taking a storage and fab module combo, collecting resources, condensing them into say titanium ingots, copper wire, even plasteel or whatever, and then when you get back to base you can break them all back down as needed

Some people don’t like using it. Mostly I walk, and keep it in inventory in case I get too cold. It’s not the best to use in ice worm territory, because it really attracts the worms (but so does the prawn, I don’t really like using it either) but it’s fine to use when in the area with the frost acacia trees

Ok so I’m getting conflicting information from the wiki the pda entry and videos, in the final release does the thumper attract ice works in the circle area and distracts them. Or does it deter ice worms and keep them from surfacing in the circle area

Pda says it sends sonic pulses to disturb would-be underground attackers. Which could mean it gets there gets there attention and they otherswise would be underground but the pulses catches their attention or it could mean the ice worms would be attackers without the loud disturbing noises.

Ok thanks I just semi tested it by taking the phi teleported to the spires and it appeared to keep them away but I wasent sure. And I also didn’t want to test further and see how much damage they do because My only endgame save is in hardcore mode.

I think they do about 30% if walking. Bit random if on snowfox, but it damages the snowfoc

And the snowfox probably attracts them

I took 10 damage from the jump attack but it was with both pieces of the re enforced dive suit so 20 damage without the suit and it jumps on you

I heard that mining with the prawn suit drill arm attracts them a lot

so ive playedf through bz..3 times now? or 4? not sure how many but im still not understanding why everyone up and vanished and what exactly happened to sam. from what i can see it looks like the bases at least up above have been abandonded for some time if the windows broke and the snow got in, and with how closed off the mine is with how much is left in there.

are there logs that i missed? I wouldnt be surprised if i did but im still not understanding.

also looking for a new area to build a base, any suggestions for pretty looking views are welcome

You can grow spiral plant clippings but you really don’t need many of them for recipes

There’s a tech site with exterior growbeds it’s kinda over near where the thermal spires area is, you know the biome that delta station/island is in but the platforms you find underwater with the growbeds on them are sorta on the edge between twisty bridges and thermal spires (or just scan them when you find ||omega base in lilypads||

No game is “fully fixed/without bugs” so idk what you expect

Some platforms have more issues than others I suppose
