Someone please help me. I experienced a bug were I could walk underwater, and I did not drain any oxygen. I could not get back to my base because it was to high up. I tried to save and then rejoin the world, but now I am just stuck and cannot move. The sound effect is like I am spawning in a base, but I just see a frame of ocean without being able to move.

@bold monolith I experienced a bug when I left my seatruck. I could walk on water just like on land. I could not reenter my base, so I thought reloading the game would be a better idea. I obviously had to save first, but then I could not move when I reentered the world. I tried to make a new world, which works normal. Seems like the file is "broken" and I am really close to the finish.

it's a subject of a bit of confusion among a lot of people
they're on the brink of being leviathans but aren't quite big enough to be considered actual leviathans

the passive leviathans in the Tree Spires are called Ventgardens, they are I believe the largest leviathan in the game
there's a few juvenile ones that can move around that are scattered through the Tree Spires but only 2 adults exist in the entire map, both in the Tree Spires and they're anchored to the seafloor so they can't move
you'll know what they are when you see them, they look so incredibly awesome

there are 2 kinds of jellyfish like creatures
one is the Eyeball Jelly which resides in large swarms in the West Arctic, and they can do a small amount of damage when you touch their tentacles
the other is the Juvenile Ventgarden which is considerably larger, has no eyeball and can't do damage in any way

There’s been work trying to fix the world streaming bug, which I’m guessing that’s what you lost your save to estragon0 (you’ll stop seeing terrain show up, fish won’t exist anymore, and if you try to quit to reload the game hangs on saving and if you do force quit at that point you likely end up with a dead save). It’s very challenging because there doesn’t seem to be a specific reproduction for it, and that’s what needs to be found in order to fix it. I’ve had the bug three times, some have had it occur more than that. I’ve had it also on two different platforms. So it’s not that there hasn’t been significant effort to fix, it’s just been a major pain to fix

There’s still not a correct answer to that, but Subnautica comes before Below Zero chronologically speaking so if you are interested in the games I would play Subnautica first. Both are great but you won’t be disappointed in the first one so I think it’s best to start with it

I was a tad disappointed with the length of the game and the short ending. However, there are also other aspects that I prefer over the first game. It was nice to have more story that is in a similar form as other games (full dialogue, cutscenes, etc.), I enjoyed the new scenery and creatures and I liked a lot of the new items.

yeah, my F8 bug report was quite unhelpful I'm afraid, it was probably minutes after triggering it before I noticed the absence of fish 😅 if it's a world streaming bug then I imagine it probably happened for me while I was rapidly stepping back and forth across a biome boundary looking for something? I do hope autosave gets added to the base game as a failsafe for this kind of thing, but good luck with the bug hunting in the meanwhile 😁
