Helpful Fact: ||Do not fear any leviathan if you have the Seatruck Perimeter Defense, because if they catch you, just use it as fast as possible and they don't even damage you, did that to the Shadow Leviathan 2 times and my Seatruck was still 100%||

If you're going swimming for that thing, use a rebreather and 3 standard tanks, swap them out when your O2 is at 35 or below. You find ||parallel processing units|| inside wrecks, most of them are littered with oxygen plants

The squid sharks are pushovers, if ones attacking here what you do, as long as you have a seaglide. Don't swim away, it will eat you. Swim up and in circles. If your tracking is good enough you can swim almost effortlessly with it as long as you're above and close

The first experience I had with one, I thought it was one of the ||Whale Leviathans||, and I hadn’t gone near them with a Seatruck yet, so when that hecking fish opened it’s mouth, i for one thought it was a Defense measure against Seatruck and I just died all over the place, and proceeded to never go to the lily pads with a Seatruck until I found out Squidsharks are their own creature.

what I do for titanium is I go to the main wreck and scan for metal scrap

So I have a small scanner base there

There's a lot less scrap metal in bz due to the ship impacting decades before BZ started so scrap is uncommon. You will have much better luck scanning fragments. Most of them are the same stuff and they give you 2-3 for each completed scan

For months when I was in my base, I would randomly start moving on my own in ways I can't explain and even got kicked out of base falling through water like air. The rock grubs will stick to your base and every time you come back one will glitch inside. If they walk into you, the hitboxes collide and the game legitimately freaks out

It's bad. The devs couldn't even explain it when I sent them a video on it. It took my stoned face watching them walk around then under foot then I got sent to the void. By the way I found out the hard limit to the game is about 13000 before teleporting you too surface. THEN the game doesn't load fast enough to give you floating physics so you fall through faster than it loads. Causing perpetual unstoppable motion. Unless you 'warpforward 5' then it's fixed

I love the recylotron. I use it a lot. One great use case scenario is if you go out with your seatruck using a storage and fabricator module, you can compress resources like for instance making titanium or plasteel ingots, and then when you get back to base you can revert them to lithium and titanium as needed

Just be sure you have plenty of power for your seatruck. Like extra power cells, or even better, ion power cells when you can make them

They used bz for all the ideas they didn't get to inject into Subnautica. I know for a fact twisty bridges were going to be in the first one instead of that area with the walkers. Imagine Subnautica with a BZ mod lol

Would be nice but there's not a lot to do down there. I feel as if the control room for your base could have upgrades like the cyclops did from sub. For example the fire suppression system. Bases don't catch fire but they do flood so, flood suppression system? Instant close all bulkheads, drain out unharmed sections and report broken ones.

So I'm an og subnautica fan. I been playing since the early betas and early accesses of the first game, I also played some of the early accesses of below zero.

||I iust finished below zero yesterday and man I felt so dissapointed i felt almost like i got time stolen from me.

To me BZ is a game that takes everything that made subnautica good and either removes it enitrely or downgrades it....

the vehicles become redundant. the snowfox has no use because the prawn suit works even better on land, and even if it did its so clunky and flawed that I don't see why they didn't put more time into it. The seatruck...whats the point if u make the depth of the prawnsuit and truck the same.... there'd be some use for for the truck if u could use it to collect massive resources but the storage module makes it so slow it makes it redundant. the fact the modules have like 4 different lockers make it so tedious to get resources put it into each and then drive to ur base take it out of each and then put it in ur own base lockers its insanity.

the biodiversity is trash. Most animals are just direct ripoffs of normal animals...penglings, whales...and like 5 different shark animals....the first game had way more imaginations. ||

||the first game also had a real sense of danger, in this a simple shock eith the defense module is enough to scare even the biggest leviathan it has no sense of danger at all, even the threat of drowining because theres oxygen plants EVERYWHERE. On land theres caves and those warming fruits and plants so the threat of freezing is non existent almost.

The Indian accent....Look. I'm also an immigrant and I have an accent so this is not coming from any place of racial hate....but its annoying. I have an accent, so I sure as hell won't be doing the voice for any medical equipment, or survival pda...i mean whos idea was it....if its not broke don't fix it come on man.

The story....bad. I mean everything is subjective is a bit of a cop out but lets be honest objective measures of story writing will tell you it's bad. I found myself agreeing with the motivations of alterra more even tho they're supposed to be the bad guy....the main character is supposed to be a smart scientist but displays neither intelligence nor science....the dialogue cringey it felt like playing life is strange when she would tell those cringe poetry quotes to Al-an. and hella plotholes. small point but she really damn left with al-an to a planet she doesn't know if she can breathe on neither did she bring any food? or take the cure in case his people were infected? also the fact u can just make the cure destroys the whole first games whole point....just pulling out a cure out ur a** like really.... ||

theres too many things to complain about so consider urself lucky cos this was the short version lol

fair enough comes to taste ig i much prefer the story being told through the world rather than just being told in what is my opinion sub par dialogue but yea its up to taste

Complaining about how the pda voice sounds, yeah, don’t see why that’s really a legit complaint. Who cares how it’s voiced? It’s fine. And they didn’t have access to the voice from the first game, that’s what I’ve been told, plus it wouldn’t make sense to use that one anyway since Robin’s pda is Xenowerks not Alterra.

what annoyed me more is literally after the first marguaret encounter i thought alright before going forward with the story imma put in work to make me a sick base...i took a bunch of hours to make a sick base and then when i went back to the story it was over in like 2 hours....like damn what was the point of that lol, the first game was larger and many times u had to set out on long voyages for rare resources so it made sense to have a good base to come back to and prepare for journeys, in this one i came across kyanite in like the first 2 hours of playing everything was so small and easily reachable which, when the story is so short and the world so small you'd want to make it harder to reach those places but the game gives u depth modules for noth the prawn and seatruck too easily

i do have to say the work they did on the actual environments is great they took the artistic design to another level, in the first game the islands were so stripped down theres a lot more details here so i enjoyed the visuals

They took the criticisms they received from players in the first game, where a lot of folks felt it was too difficult, there weren’t enough clues of where to go from one step to the next, and resources where harder to find. And also included a lot of awesome QoL improvements as well. So while some people don’t like BZ as much as the first game, there are also plenty of people who really love and appreciate BZ. Maybe not as much as the first game, but its certainly worth appreciating it in its own right.
