In comparison you travel a lot more, and further, in the original than in BZ.
There’s 2 entrances to the crystal caverns, which seems plenty imo
There’s 4 entrances to LR in comparison, but it’s a bigger network/biome I’m guessing.
It’s fine if you just don’t like the game as much, but sometimes I feel like people are grasping at straws in terms of “why” they don’t like it. You don’t have to have specific reasons, it’s fine if you like the original more

You can get down to the artifact with the MK1. To the Crystal Caves, you need an MK2. It's built like that since that's only one of two places to get Spiral Plants, which is needed for the MK2.
