What I want is a mod that you install in one end wall slot on the Seabase, like the Vehicle Upgrade Console. When you dock a Seatruck, the modules are automatically moved and snapped/docked to that end. And the modules are powered, so you can walk right in from the Moonpool and use the storage and facilities inside. This means docking a truck to a Moonpool turns it into a fully functional base, without any other modules.

I'm not saying you'd have to, just that you could.

I tend to build 2-3 full-featured bases and about a dozen "waystations" with much simpler facilities, usually just battery and cell chargers, a plant or two for food, maybe a bed. I would use the dry connection to simplify the "waystation" base, since I have my fabricator, bed, and food with the Aquarium module.

I also want a scanner module, bad.

There's a whole area just behind the main island behind the life pod that leads you into the void but if you stay against the wall everything becomes flat and there is like a giant wall
It's all stuff you can stand and build on

Yeah, honestly, my biggest recommendation is to build a fully equipped scanner base on the north side of delta island. 500m range will cover halfway to center of any edge of the map.

Of course by fully equipped I mean all mods and a power source. Not like a full installation.

Honestly, I would love to hack into the sensors on the radio tower, as a thing. That thing reports it detects vehicle and human life signs, and its at the top of the island. It has good range.

Personally I didn't find the aquarium module very useful, you need a fabricator just to get food out of it, and if you're in a place where fish are there to get sucked up you could just get out and grab them. Just gonna slow it down imo. I had plenty of nutrient blocks from crates and water from filtration machines anyway

Yeah, The game released on May 14th. There has been a small update that added more languages, new was to access console commands on pc, renamed the Stillsuit to the Water Filtration Suit, and some Bug fixes. And you gotta have a SN2 before a SN3.
