Not sure if they're directly comparable. One is a human company and one is an advanced alien species. ||The Architects basically imprisoned an intelligent species in the first game and were also negligent towards the Kharaa bacterium. However, if you've seen the ending of Below Zero then ALAN doesn't seem too bad. On the flip side I haven't paid too much attention to Alterra's lore but they obviously did Robin and Sam a disservice by saying Sam died from "her own negligence" when she was really trying to prevent Kharaa from spreading.||

I'm going to have to go with a big no. The Architects goal on 4546B was to find a cure for the Kharaa Bacterium which, according to a data terminal in the Disease Research Facility, states that the Kharaa Bacterium has already killed over 100 Billion individuals. They did what they had to in order to save not only their race, but all other life in the SN Universe.
Alterra is just some standard high and mighty company that has had a good and bad reputation over their years of existence.

I would go with a more neutral answer.
We don't know how they came into contact with kharaa. It could be a natural disease, or it could be a bioweapon that escaped control.
And a lot of those casualties from it were caused BY their efforts to cure it. All the life destroyed on 4546b was because they brought it to the planet, rather than taking their test samples elsewhere.
Not to mention the level of stupidity involved in taking a water-transmissible bacterium, to a waterworld, and keeping it in a facility built UNDERWATER.
I still don't know what they were getting out of all the scannable things in Sector Zero, though.
Or why, outside video game logic, said things were left where they were, rather than, again, an established facility to work from.

The only real importance of Sector Zero I can think of is their ||phase gate to their homeworld||, and the fabrication facility. All other things like their artifacts, I have no clue.

Seatruck > seamoth. Seatruck is about the same size and speed as the seamoth. You also have the booster upgrade amd the modules help too.

Seamoth is just so sexy and fun to use. All the tech in the original had a much greater “awe” factor than in BZ.
One thing I’ll give BZ is that it is possible to have both its version of seamoth with the prawn at the same time. Always wanted to dock both my seamoth and prawn in the cyclops.

One of the main problems with a port of the Seatruck to SN1, or Cyclops to BZ, (though the latter has... other issues) is that we can't distribute the assets required. We'd need some way to either extract the assets from the one game and repackage them so that the other game can read them on the end user's system, or some way for the one game to directly read the asset packs of the other. Neither of which is trivial.

Mod I made inspired by a SN1 mod called Refillable Tanks; it lets me customise the capacities of all the oxygen tanks, and also control whether they refill automatically. This is the manual refill mode, where I have to take it back to a fab to refill it.
this is with a Plasteel Ultra Capacity Tank, which is from another mod I made; combination of the Lightweight High Capacity Tank and the Ultra High Capacity Tank. That is, capacity of the Ultra tank, weight of the Lightweight High Capacity Tank.
Customise Oxygen gives you some general options in the menu; Namely, you can switch between manual/automatic refill, set a global capacity multiplier, and set a second multiplier which applies only to manual mode; but you can go into the config.json to define specific capacities for specific tanks.

Moved the Install off my game SSD to my C drive. 2 hours and not 1 crash (all hard drives are new)
Have paging files setup on my C drive and my game SSD - so not sure if it is bad issues with paging files (multiple or not on the same drive) or issues with the game not on the main disk.
but moving it seems to have resolved the issues

On my old system it worked great, played 150 hours in beta with no issues.
Built a new system and it wouldn't work. Looked everywhere for help with none.
The only difference between my 2 systems (clicked this morning) was moving from 1 disk to 2disks.
After literally trying everything and anything to fix it, moving it to my OS drive (C) with the primary paging file fixed it.
Not here to argue, just wanting to help anyone that either may A are having issues, or be may join having issues.
Tonight I will swap cables and try again but I am confident it will crash again
