well I tried to spend some time exploring and going directly for the island as I got the signal and waited for it to be day and clear sky... still... she does not show up. this is very sad
maybe I'll need to create an entirely new save. this is already a fresh save made in the version but maybe this save is just broken somehow

The question is how you’d organize them. I was thinking about recreating every biome in a alien containment aquarium with the species living in that biome. But idk. I might just put them in different tanks. But I’ve definitely thought about using the large rooms instead of the multipurpose rooms

There was a run i had where none of the mining arms or prawn fragments would scan (the ones that don’t disappear) and half of the sea-truck fragments were missing from the map. Turns out it was writing a partial save state from steam cloud over my save slot and trying to match that those were already scanned with a save file that i had deleted earlier. There was a solution in the pins here about switching to steam beta and starting the run over.

I don't see why they had to change it at all. The attention to detail in other parts of the game ready feels lacking to me, they didn't really need to reinforce the point that they work for a different corporation with a new PDA with a voice that's hard to understand sometimes and isn't anywhere near as helpful for helping you understanding the world around you as the Alterra one.
