It’s similar to how we don’t allow discussion of putting cuddlefish in bioreactors in sn chat. That upsets people, and given the limited number of them, it’s really just attention seeking people stirring up drama who post stuff like that. And yes, that’s very much a moderation decision, and not “mod abuse” because we’re acting in the best interest of the community.

Someone like Ignis would know a lot more about it than I, but just based on observation…I think Al-an speaks to you directly after you’ve visited important story related sites such as Omega and Outpost zero etc when it has to do with Sam etc, but if it’s about humanity and stuff there’s a desire to let you CHOOSE when to listen to his dialog or interact with him so it’s treated as a call
