I just went after it cause it kept hitting my sea truck and I had to leave it for a moment. but it kept attacking my sea truck. so I just held on to it with the grappling arm and started drilling into it

the funny thing is in the Subnautica when you first got your hands on the prawn the PDA warned you about previous users feeling invincible while being inside of the prawn. the PDA wasn't lying. I often feel somewhat invincible while inside of the prawn xD. I mean if you just keep repairing it you kind of are

honestly whenever you play Subnautica or Below Zero your first objective is to get the prawn and the grappling arm. it's the ultimate vehicle. I don't care much for the sea truck. yes it sort of functions as a mini cyclops with the right upgrades but it'll never take the place that the cyclops and especially the prawn has in my heart

I've noticed something strange. the prawn has a lot of movement above water but it generally feels slower in water? it used to barely be able to jump above water in the base game. now I can fly out of the water and high up on the island or ground nearby

It’s a bit tricky. ||You gotta go to that “Last pilot known location” and then just go straight down. When you get to the caves you could go back… in a way. Sort of go towards the island (inside the caves)||

In this game? The prawn isn’t the best vehicle no. It wasn’t in Subnautica either, the seamoth/ seaglide combo were the principal means of movement for most players for early to mid game I reckon, same in BZ except it’s seaglide/seatruck. Prawn is now more a “make if you want it” vehicle. Certainly has its uses, but nowhere near “required”

I just finished the BZ story. I actually only got a few hours into the first game and bugs are keeping me from progressing so I just switched to BZ. I loved it, but it felt kind of short. Like I never even needed to build a second base, the place where I started at the pod felt central enough to do everything without building anywhere else. So is there any kind of endgame here, more to accomplish? And is it worth going back and playing the first game?

When I was moving my base from one location to another once, I built a hatch on my new base (above water), had the stair glitch, and then when I seatrucked back to my old base the missing piece was wedged diagonally inside an iceberg, and then, when I deconstructed the diagonal stairs and thought “Weird.”

The hatch over there had been deconstructed.
