Well that sucks. Been there. There is a solution in the pins related to steam cloud issues. Basically have to switch to the beta for the steam client itself so it doesn’t try to cloud copy Subnautica data

Have you been to Delta? You’re supposed to follow the paths to the top where the delta base is, and you’ll encounter the person who the seabase belongs to which starts that storyline and eventually they’ll return to their seabase and you’ll visit them there

I have been to Delta, yes. Found ||an architect thing in a small cave|| but I don't recall going to the top. Makes sense though because there's ||a vocal warning at Delta and the base||, which is obviously a clue.

||extremely disappointed on the story||

||it felt like everything ended so abruptly. I went and found out that Sam died, put an antidote and bam done. Then I do a collect mission for alan, he takes me to somewhere else and it ends on a cliffhanger||

||I felt like there was no cohesion or anything in the story or depth, some witcher 3 side quests were more full fledged||

||despite this I enjoyed the base building a lot, and the exploring was also decent||

||wasn't worth 40 Canadian dollars imo||
