Once you are done with the sam arc or reach the crystal caves, you can find a pathway leading to Alan's containment. He is trapped in the storage and wants to get out, and begs you for help. Yeah, make smuch more sense. Also allows you to finish finding Sam.

Without any spoilers i was hoping to see more story from that and not just… like a cutscene that shows stuff if that makes sense. Like dont get me wrong, seeing the ||architects world|| is cool, but the story made it out to be revealing what happened to ||the architects||
