If you cant seem to manuver yourself out (boosting through or trying every angle) I hate to say it but you may only have 3 options.
- Use a console command to teleport out of there
- Re-load a save.

if you need it for the Depth Module - here's from the Wiki. I did mine a bit different and found my diamond by accident exploring in a glacier :p

So far I just don’t really like the awkward sequence break at ||crystal caves that’s a two part sequence||, requires you to basically go back to get stuff unless you wanna hunt around for it, even if it’s all semi close (since I have it all back at base no thanks). That just seemed a pain.
