i was playing on a world yesterday. I shut my computer off for the night and went to bed. The next day (this day) i got on to see that i had to reinstall subnautica below zero. So i did then when i launched and saw my world it said it was damaged and when i loaded in everything was gone, reset

no worries. The right way: click start menu, then the power symbol

Basically when you flip that switch you hard cut power to the PSU which will make all of the components in your PC turn off in the wrong order. That rocker switch only really exists for troubleshooting purposes, or for transporting the PC

It woudln't matter if there was a backup file, becuase the techincal description for what happened was that there were resources in the system write cache that didn't get a chance to get committed to storage before you powered down the system, so even if there were a backup file, it also wouldn't have been saved

i love how kyanite, a mineral you need like a handful of to make some upgrades and then never again, is super easy to get loads of once you know where to find it
