I wish the game did more with the cold tbh, like having upgrades for the seatruck and prawn that allowed them to operate better in colder temperatures, and some biomes being so cold it would be near impossible to traverse them without those upgrades, to me the game feels way more straight forward because there’s rarely any “oh i need ___ before i come back here” moments that the first game had so much of
