have to shut off my power strip to get it to even restart

but after some undefined length of time it just crashes my pc

i have a theory. a game theory but fr i think the Cryptosuchus might be related to the snow stalker are related on evolution POV bc look the both have 4 limbs the both are carnivore and they are aggressive so my theory is the cryptosuchus and the snow stalker have a common ancestor let me tell you a story on why i think this so a 100000 years ago the common ancestor of the of the of the Cryptosuchus and the snow stalker lived where the delta island and Glacial Basin were the same land mass and a group of and when the island split from the Glacial Basin and the ancestor group that was on the island evolved to be aquatic animal and the ancestor on the main land evolved into the snow stalker

I'm almost finished with BZ, and I feel... like it could have been a lot better but I just come out underwhelmed and lacking the wonder I had in the first game. Feels more like a checklist.

There's a lot of content in BZ I really love but it feels like the game doesn't take advantage of said content. Everything just feels less impactful.

And the story is... well I won't call it bad but I really would have liked more show don't tell. If all the same events happened but you had to figure out what happened yourself I think that'd have been a lot more compelling instead of the game just telling you.

When I went to the lost river in Subnautica it was an absolute expedition. I had to get fully geared for going in there and plan the mission out and it was pretty cool.

In BZ everything is so small and compact you kinda can just, go where you feel like going and be there in a few moments. 2000x2000 odd km was just too small.

Prawn does kind of lose its niche yeah. I definitely used the prawn more in the original subnautica.

Seamoth was the lightweight scout good for just exploring and traversing quickly.
Prawn was your heavy duty tool for exploring more hazardous environments that your seamoth would buckle under, and gathering precious resources that were harder to obtain in SN
Cyclops was your mobile base (duh) for long expeditions where you were planning on being away from home for a while so the slow speed and bulky frame weren't an issue.

The problem is the seatruck is... very durable and resources are very accessible so prawn kind of loses its luster.

Prawn is great for explorin the arctic though, even though that's not really what the devs intended.

I can definitely say creatures are more of a threat in BZ than they were in OG, I never got killed by a creature in OG despite trying to fight nearly everything
