I didn't really play the first one, because by that time. I watched Jack's whole series, so I was just spoiled. Playing it wouldn't of shocked me compared to what I watched, but luckily with BZ I've been holding off on spoilers, and I more likely will if they ever plan on making another Subnautica. This game is just amazing. I can only assume this one was semi short because if it being planned as a Separate Expansion then turning into a actual sequel.
