Uhh no, not exactly. There's a map where you found the Pengling that shows the locations you can use it (the circled one is the cave you gotta find for the story item). The rest are just for magnetite and quartz, and /all/ of the locations for a Pengling will have a weird blinky radio box next to the entrance

Yeah it was a scannable right next to the spy Pengling (you got it from the fully assembled PEngling inside a building right?) The map was on the wall, large, right behind it. If you scanned it it'll be in your database

You don't need to, the game doesn't hold your hand because it's about exploration and you don't have to do things linearly (for the most part) and if you ever get lost just use the Wiki walkthrough.

Mhmm, that Beacon should make the trip back there pretty easy. The cave for the Pengling is a total pain in the butt to find so don't get discouraged and make use of a video guide if you have to. Do note the whole Pengling part of the story isn't technically required, but I'd recommend you do it anyways.

None off the top of my head sadly, but just search for ||Pengling Cure Cave|| on Youtube or some similar keywords if you can't find it. The map is hard to follow and there's no GPS for a "you are here" blip so if you have to resort to that don't feel too bad.
