Either way in the first game there were still a whole lot more scary fauna. Reapers, ghost leviathan, Boneshark, Ampeel(one of the scariest), Crabsnake and Crabsquid, Sandshark, Stalker, and the warper, there were also smaller things like cave crawlera and blood crawlers. There were a lot more animals out for you, and you had to be a lot more careful

I wanted to come on here to say that I just finished Below Zero after 28.5 hours of comfortably playing it through. The last week of playing it has been some of the most fun I have ever had playing a video game in my life. The ending was absolutely breathtakingly epic how everything wraps up. After playing Subnautica 1 years ago and loving it, then re-falling in love with it now, this was the best birthday gift I could have asked for. Thank you devs and anyone involved. That was unmatched fun.
