one shockwave had them off of me. For my final expedition there, I drove in with only the Seatruck itself and a docking module with my Prawn attached. I went down into the Purple caves to avoid or neutralize the Shadows with shockwaves. Then at the entrance of the Red caves, safe from any attack, jumped into the Prawn and continued maneuvering with it

If you use a sea truck cockpit and get the shadow to latch on you. An quickly hop out of it and scan while he’s eating, it won’t destroy it in 1 shot (not even 2?) then hop back in while it moves away for another attack. Rinse and repeat, it only took me two retreats to repair

Diamond can be found as a large resource deposit. Said deposits are especially plentiful in the Tree Spires and at Koppa Mining Site.
There is a very small chance diamonds can also be found as a Ore Vein. Ore veins are somewhat plentiful in the Arctic Spires, but diamond ore veins are usually located quite deep - beyond 200 meters.
Easiest way to find a few diamonds early game is by finding the half open door entrance to the Koppa Mines…
