There's a lot of different ways you can approach the Glacial Basin but I usually just do it with nothing. Sometimes I'll use a Snowfox. You should be good with fevered peppers and geographic knowledge. Then try to find a stalker and stab it a couple times with a thermoblade to kill it, and use a spy penguin to pick up it's fur for a cold suit

its a surprisingly efficient way to deal with snow stalkers

Then keep to the right side of the frozen lake, don't go into the cave, and continue till you see a stalker on your left side with some bones. Then around there you should find a fragment. If you don't, keep going up until you find a split path, go right, and continue staying right side until you end up lowering down, then you should find a couple parts. If you go even further you should find a Jump Module for the Snowfox. @weak tapir
