Ofc BZ is going to be “disappointing”. It’s impossible to recreate the original feeling everyone had when playing subnautica for the first time. Regardless of that, the devs have still delivered a hell of a game.

One MAJOR thing SN1 did better was the side quests, it really feels we only have 1 good storyline in this game, whereas in SN1 the Sunbeam, Degasi, AND Aurora crew had satisfying stories imo
